Sorry I didn't call you back last night.

Alan, I have known you for a while. I know you have been sceptical about AP. I also know from experience that AP works and you might get a whole lot of little losses sprinkled with some big wins that more than make up for the losses depending on the play. I know that you will like the challenge of beating the system. Give it a try you'll like it and there is a lot of members on this forum much smarter than myself who would be happy to help you.

John I remember the day I met you at Rincon and you told me you were an AP. I never criticized you for it. So would you mind detailing your financial success as an AP?

More skepticism Alan? You will never believe anyone that collecting bonuses that other players leave behind works until you try it yourself. So It's not about me. It's not about the other members of this forum who try to help all the members of this forum (including your self Alan )play better. You are the doubting Thomas who will not believe until he's seen it for himself. It's all on you Alan. You're playing at the casino anyway. Why not try to learn and play smarter.

He's better off just picking off plays that he see as he walks by. And only go after ones with either many left over or ones with a larger number or two. Not worth his while checking every game and denomination per machine only to find a lonely 2x on a 10 play nickel game.

Jbjb Alan needs immersion therapy. He needs to get enough proof to see that the mathematics of playing left over bonuses, left over accumulated coins (golden egypt) , left over wilds that need to charge (scarab), left over free games( Harley Davidson) (riches of Babylon ). No mathematics will prove AP to Allen. Reading Mickey Crimm' twitter feed will not prove it to him. Some times I feel like Alan is from Missouri the show me state. He is a doubting Thomas and will not believe until he sees it himself. Alan need the PROOF. And he's sceptical of anything that anyone tells him. He is so set in his ways that he is unwilling to try it for himself. Because if he tried it for himself it may provide even a sceptic like himself enough proof that he would have to change he belief about AP. And he's not willing to change his belief. Instead of looking inward he will deflect show me your numbers show me your proof show me your tax statement. Then anything anyone shows him or or tells him will not be believed, must be wrong, must be stretching the truth. The only thing Alan will believe is Alan's own experience. And Alan is too smart to try. He knows for absolute certainty AP does not work. Alan will refuse to change his ways because he's too set in his ways. He is addicted to the casino action. That is why craps is his favorite game. That why he can not always leave a video poker machine when he has hit his own stop. One day I hope my good friend Alan will take the time to learn how to play smarter if he's going to be in the casino anyway or learn to walk away from the casino and stop losing his children's inheritance. I really wish you the best Alan and want you to do well.
    Your friend John

Interesting that you said that jbjb. I was with John in Vegas one night when we went to three different casinos and I watched him go thru all the games and denominations on UX machines and that's pretty much what he found -- one lowly multiplier on one game.

John I'm sorry but your view of living life as an AP isn't my view. I don't want to live in casinos like you do to scrape out a sub poverty level income.

I don't want to sit at poker tables 16 hours a day to get points for drawings and then have to play 5-cents video poker.

You gave up a good paying career in IT. Did you ever sit down to calculate the income you lost?

Very good deflection Alan. I quit when my father came down with cancer my GOD rest his soul. I quit to spend more time with him. Now that he has gone to be with our father in heaven, I have a 91 year old mother with a lot of pain from several osteoporosis compression fractures of the lumber and thoracic areas of her spine. Don't deflect on me Alan. It's all about you.

Alan is the original poster of this thread. Alan is the one that lost a little change vulturing bonus. Alan is the one who sample size is so small it proves nothing to anyone except Alan. To him it proves AP does not work and if it did work it would not be worth it because he chose a nickel denomination.

I never said it didn't work. All I said was that I found an UX machine with a single 8x multiplier and several 2x multipliers and lost money on the play.

    You jumped to conclusions.

Been there, done that. Wait until you find a full load of 12x's on a ten play and brick all 10!

Just had dinner at Red Rock. Won $13.50 on the kiosk game. Found ONE UX with FIVE 7Xs on DDB @ 5-cents. Cashed out a $7.50 profit. All I held on the deal was a single ace.

It's happened. At Bellagio some years ago on a ten play $5 Super Times Pay machine I had a 10x multiplier and was dealt four to the royal. Any one royal would have paid $200,000. I didn't get even a high pair.

These are fun little hits. Back to back top symbols on the very first two spins.

Your right Alan You lost money on an AP play so it did work! Excuse me for jumping to conclusions! Keep up the nickle play you might make $200 when you hit the royal

Since you started this thread and are obviously a wealth of knowledge, why didn't you post the exact vulture strategy?
Would you please inform the forum of exactly what a positive situation on Ultimate X looks like when you find the game?
Which games are positive? Do you play Triple, Five or Ten Play?
What pay tables are positive and do you change Basic or Advanced Strategy for this game?
Do you have to bet Max only or can you bet less?
Are you able to at least provide a link to players who do not understand how to vulture this game?
    Anything useful would be appreciated.

It doesn't have to be Mendelson.
Anyone who has the answers can post them if they like.
Would MaxPen be willing to help?
Is anyone actually going to answer these questions?
You start this thread and cry but do not educate anyone on how to go about beating this game or how to vulture it!?
Talk about trolling without ever posting any useful information.

The question is moot as I didn't start the thread (just kidding Monet)

Any screen with one more multipliers that say "next hand IX" to the top left of the hand where I is an integer greater than 1
    Which games are positive?
Any game where the base paytable is about ~95% or greater.
Do you play Triple, Five or Ten Play? Any that have one or more next hand multipliers on that screen
What pay tables are positive and do you change Basic or Advanced Strategy for this game?
See Above for the answer to which pay tables are positive. No you do not change your strategy - it is the same strategy as if you were playing standard VP because you are not playing for a next hand mutliplier, you are exhausting the existing multipliers.
Do you have to bet Max only or can you bet less? You absolutely do not Max bet (let someone else pay for the multipliers you are going to use up) - you should bet 5 coins per hand.
Are you able to at least provide a link to players who do not understand how to vulture this game? No ;-).
    Anything useful would be appreciated.

    Yes Alan,
After all the time spent at Rincon. And all the same day round trips to Las Vegas from the Valley that I went with you so that you would have another driver in the car because its a long and dangerous round trip to drive alone. Trips that I took with you for your safety. Many of which I did not gamble at all and just watched your play. I could tell a lot of private tales about how you gamble on this public forum. However I consider you a friend. I want the best for you. I want you to embrace AP Play and start making money in the casinos if your going to be there anyway. I choose to take the High Road.

Wait a minute!! What's going on here?? Didn't Alan hit a couple of $100,000 royals on the $25 machines a while back? While I appreciate the tip he offered about claiming free sodas at Herbst gas stations without buying anything, did he take the wrong downhill exit in getting to this station on his gambling journey? Or is this just a random investigative reporting thread?

EDIT: By the way, I'm not trying to troll Alan or make him feel bad in case his luck turned for the worse. I used to enjoy reading his trip reports long ago & I would feel terrible myself if I had lost those two big royals back to the machines. I don't come here very often anymore and I haven't kept up with things. Maybe he held onto the winnings, I don't know.
