I'm getting a chuckle from the various anti gambling and anti casino comments made here on a casino gambling forum.

I thought it was appropriate to start a separate thread since our absentee forum owner and moderator appears to be only concerned with posting his own sports picks.

I'm surprised that so far no one has put any blame on the organization that once was the biggest gaming operator in the country -- The Church for its bingo games.

I've actually reported on the Church and it's bingo since I started as a TV reporter in 1973. In 1973 I reported that in the US there were more places to play bingo than there were baseball diamonds to play the All American game.

But in recent years (5) it's estimated that Church bingo revenue has been cut in half due to declining attendance, some of which was caused by an aging population of bingo lovers and some of it caused by the explosion of casino gaming nationwide.
