I have seen many negative posts about this steakhouse across the gambling forums.
I admit it is not what it once was 20+ years ago.
However, I eat here on a regular basis.
Not as regular as a few years ago when they revamped the menu/kitchen and they had a comp/free play glitch.
Nonetheless I still eat here once a month or once every two months.

I took the family out for a birthday dinner.
I like to eat early and the sun wasn't a problem at this time of year like in the summer.
The view is always worth taking the time to have dinner at the Top.
They changed the menu once again not too long ago.
They took the live lobster tank out of the front area where you could choose your lobster.
I always figured that is a lie no matter what restaurant.
When Billy Bobs was really good at Sams Town my wife used to fall for that scam.
Billy Bobs was really good for a long while and all of a sudden one day it went downhill really fast and eventually changed names.

Anyways, Top of Binion's is very similar to Hugo's Cellar now.
You have an amazing view vs the ambiance over at Hugo's.
I enjoy them both but would put Hugo's ahead.

I ordered the lamb chops and they were perfect.
I made the mistake of ordering asparagus.
My server should of told me that all the dinners come with green beans.
The green beans were perfect. A little snap to them but perfectly cooked and seasoned.
I had the garlic mash but any choice is fine. They have couscous and it is really good if you like that!

My wife had the Prime Rib and I made her get the King Cut.
Oh man just perfect and she did have the couscous with it which tasted really good.
The Uncle got his usual Porterhouse and loved it.
Of course that guy is happy with any slop you serve him.
Loaded Baked Potato for him as always.

The soups aren't as good as they used to be but more than edible.
Onion for my Uncle and Lobster Bisque for the wife.
I had the Spinach Salad which is enough for 2-3 people.

These greedy bastards charge for soda refills now lol.
That is just ugly and like Hugo's if you order a coke it comes in a small can.
Would you like that in the Can... No I'll have it right here. - Clark Griswold - (European Vacation)

If you want free refills I advise the Iced Tea... I am pretty sure those are free but not 100% sure!

Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer and I seen no problems with them whatsoever.

We skipped desert this time but those are always worth it.
Usually I get a double espresso but skipped that as well but do recommend that after any dinner if you have time.

The bill came to 230 comped dollars.
5 dollars to the hostess who sat us and 30 dollars to the server for gratuity.
A little high as I wasn't as happy with the service this time but I never have a problem giving cash to my fellow man who works in the trenches.
