Thread: Full list of Las Vegas resort fees 2019 (and parking fees)

  1. #1
Resort fees are a mandatory addition to any hotel price. Note that, while many of these fees appear offensively high, it's all a numbers game. The fees are used so the hotel can be listed with deceptively low prices online. For example, a hotel with a base rate of $70 and a $30 resort fee really costs $100+tax, but is listed online as $70, placing them higher up in the list sorted by price. This should be illegal, but it's not, and most hotels in Vegas are now doing it.

With that said, here's a list of Las Vegas hotel resort fees in 2019.

The resort fees "include" internet access, as well as a few other mostly-useless "perks".

However, parking is not included in resort fees at many properties, which will be listed in blue.

The hotels with increased fees are listed first, followed by those remaining the same, followed by a list of those with no resort fees.

Resort fees are also subject to local tax, in the same way regular room charges are.

I find it offensive that they are charging for parking on principle alone. It would be cool if they had some sort of slot or big six type wheel that you put the parking fee in for a shot at something. At least you would be getting something for your money.
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

Thanks for posting this listing. It's very useful to review this once every six or seven months.

    Some notes:

    1) The Artisan has not really raised its resort fee much recently. It's an off-the-wall place, but very interesting. Check out the lobby when you have a chance.
    2) The resort fee for Palace Station has gotten out of hand.
    3) The Orleans and Gold Coast had very nominal resort fees just a few years ago. Now they're pretty rough.
    4) The Ellis Island resort fee is now outrageous. A few years back, it was nominal.
    5) Alexis Park's resort fee is reasonable, and it's a nice place.
    6) My favorite resort fee is for Circus-Circus, where the rooms are listed at $23 some nights, and the resort fee is $32. Absurd, and it should be illegal.

Next up, Circus Circus rooms for $1 a night, resort fee of $54 dollars a night. That should up its hits on Orbitz, Travelocity and Expedia. . .

I wouldn't consider anything in Vegas as a "resort." They're all just dumps with a few swimming pools.
