I was fumbling around and fell into this movie.
Missed it somehow back in the day.

Anyways, it is worth a viewing because it predates Silence of the Lambs (1991).
The music is good enough and it is Michael Mann in a similar style as his movie Thief (1981).
Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins did it better but its interesting to watch earlier content.
Other purists disagree as they believe the Brian Cox version of Hannibal to be more realistic.
On the plus side we have (William Petersen) in Manhunter from To Live and Die in LA (1985) which is by far a superior movie IMO.
I guess he came back from the dead to play an FBI Agent.

Manhunter (1986)

I enjoyed Manhunter as well Monet - been over a decade since I saw it IIRC. If you haven't seen it already, you might want to check out Red Dragon with Ralph Fiennes - it was pretty good.
