Thread: Four Queens June Promotion

  1. #1
Sorry for interrupting all the backbiting on the forum but in case the forum did not know, I wanted to share an advantage gambit.

Four Queens in Downtown Las Vegas has an attractive June offer available to all.

By my calculation for coin in up to $32,000 in video poker, you have free play and cash back equivalent to 1.56% of your action. Then if you put $32,000 in action, you get in addition about $240 in comps which you can use for a bunch of things including the excellent Hugo's Cellar steakhouse.

Also I have heard that if you put in about $8,000 a day, you will start getting room offers. Put in action in a day or two and maybe you will get a suite.

There is a lot of 9/6 JOB so there is a generally non-volatile way to accumulate points. See the info below:

Want to put more than $32,000 in action? You can also double up to 500 points in one day ($4,000 in video poker) if you use the American Casino Guide coupon. That would be ACG coupons for both Four Queens and its sister property Binions. I am told that you can get a paper voucher at Binions for the comps and use it a Four Queens restaurant.

Great stuff sir - maybe this should be moved to the Hot Sucker thread.

Is the 40/10/6 DDB $8 per point? Any new member sign-up bonuses? I'm heading out next week and this sounds like as good of a play as any.

Yes, the 40/10/6 DDB is $8 per point. Available at all three bars for 50 cents and 1 dollar. If you have a daily average of 3,000 or more points you should get a $400 mailer.

Thanks. I'm an out of towner though, so I don't have much use for the mailers

The mailers for out-of-towners usually cover a two month period so you only need to show up one day within those two months to collect your free play.

Are mailers for locals a one time thing for the month or is it like 12 pickups for the month or whatever these darn new-age saloons are doing?

Thanks, Fab. If they continue this in July, I'll camp out for a day. Thanks to everyone for adding info. I have the ACG, and I like Hugo's and the Magnolia Room. Makes me want to grab a flight next week. I have a soft spot for the Four Queens, as they have resisted resort fees all these years.

Desperate times call for desperate actions I reckon

Sorry I don't know how it works for locals. Maybe monet will respond.

This is June only. Four Queens traditionally runs some sort of promotion like this every June.

The only sign up bonus I know at Four Queens is that promotional slot machine just outside the Four Queens across from Golden Nugget. I recall that new players get a pull and based on the result, may have a signup promo.

The 40/10/6 DDB game looks like 99.96% return or basically an even game -- assuming one can stomach the volatility. To me the promotion looks like a better edge than carding counting. That is particularly a high payout for a bar stool game. Does that include games at Chicago Brewing? I may spice up my regular 9/6 JOB with that game if I get bored.

The more I think about this, the more inclined I am to play 9/6 JOB. Running bad on JOB might be a 5% loss before the FP. (?) - assuming no royal, no SF and a little slow on quads.

Running bad for $32K on DDB could get real ugly.

Will run the numbers for both games on VPW when I get a chance.

If they have pick-a-pair (pick'em) vp at the 4 queens and the software allows you to run the numbers on it, you might want to run it.

Ok, so according to Video Poker for Winners - with a starting bankroll of $1500 and a quit point of $4000 profit after 6400 hands:

For 9/6 JOB - 7% chance of $4k profit (and you quit early)
    22% chance of bust
32% chance of being around even (+/- $700)

For 10/6 DDB ( the software cant analyze BR for 40/10/6)
    Profit of $4k - 12%
    Busted 52%
    Around Even - 12%

Both sets of data are before cash back.

Sounds like you didn't bet both sides (requires two stations).
