The column count breaks down (2-4s) (5-7s) vs 9,10,A. I call the 9's played A,B,C,D. Picked that up from T3. Then I count the Aces on body parts. The allows me to have decent PE for regular hands and a better composition of 9-As for large bet hands. However, the other method is to count 8,9 at -.5 the 10, A at -1. Then drop the 8 after calling ABCD and add -.5 to the Ace for large bet compositions.

The 2nd option is slightly more difficult but covers every card in the deck. I cannot determine with my tools which is the better way. Your thoughts?

Seems a little extreme to me coinsidering your max bet is $45.

Against better judgement I am going to comment.

Moses approach more and more resembles T3's ramblings. Such a complex count is short-sighted and not conducive to winning today's games. This complex approach is nothing new. It is recycled from the 70's and 80's when there were better games. And even then the consensus was that any value was limited. As games deteriorated, that "limited value" has shrunk to no value. It really has. The things Moses and T3 before him and anyone who focuses on some kind of complex column count or anything more than a level 2 count is just not what it takes to win in today's environment against todays games.

Now I know some people want and try to give Moses a little leeway that others like T3 don't get because Moses claims to play Reno, where there are still single and double deck games. The kind of games that might just benefit a little from a more complex approach. A throwback to the 70's / 80's sort of. I too tried to give him that benefit of doubt for quite a while, but he just can't be playing the limits and quantity that he claims in Reno. Reno doesn't allow that for long. So it becomes difficult to give him any benefit of doubt.

I mean seriously, my advise to Moses, is instead of trying to squeeze every last cent out of his low limit, red chip play in Reno, by following this misguided path down memory lane of complex counts, is to prepare for the change that is likely coming to Reno as they move away from being the last bastion of Single deck games, because THAT is coming sooner rather than later.

Moses, why are you the lone exception and allowed to continue playing single deck blackjack frequently for years and years in Reno? You must realize your strong playing efficiency "column count" is fooling no one as it is all about the bottom line period. Why do you find it strange that some people have doubts about your story? You are like the last white buffalo on the planet.

I don't want to get into this pattern of posting here while Moses "tries" to respond at the funny farm. But I will say there is no one in the blackjack AP/card counting community that knows Reno that thinks Moses is able to play the stakes and amount he claims. That just is not what Reno is.

Moses talks in very generalities. He says something like he is able to do so because he avoids preferential shuffling. There isn't an emoji made that is laughing hard enough at this. Reno IS the preferential shuffling capital of the world. The preferential shuffle on players raising to $15.

Second point Moses is trying to make that is false is that using a more complex count like his column count will allow you to differ from someone counting down from say above. The opposite is true. Many casinos including a number in Reno use software rather than someone counting down using hi-lo. And the more complex the count the closer your actions will be to the software count. Playing a more complex count is actually exposing someone even more.

Finally, I never heard anyone in this community talk about playing within the tolerance or comfort level of casinos until I began talking about it probably 7 years ago. When I moved to Vegas, I devised a plan of attack based on playing within casino tolerance and comfort levels BECAUSE I had been unable to do so in Atlantic City, where I was shown the door. I wanted to learn from that. And I am proud to say I have been pretty successful. Every once in a while I step outside a certain Casinos tolerance level. That is me misreading a particular situation. And I learn and adjust from it.

But my point is that no one and I mean no one talked about this until I revealed this back on Norm's forum. And then shortly after T3 started frequently talking about tolerance levels and now Moses has incorporated it into his "stories. Right down to the exact terminology with both! I mean I don't care because if I post something on an open forum, my purpose is sharing my experiences, hopefully so that others might find something useful and use it to their benefit. So while I am happy, I really am that some people have adopted somethings that I do, I find it a little weird that two or my biggest critics T3 and now Moses, pretty much take things I say and do as their own while continuing to always attempt to discredit me.

Moses, almost all of your post at ZZ seem like you are half in the bag at the time which is likely true. Good luck with the rest of your hateful life, as I am finally completely done reading your nonsense and bullshit.

This is how you know when these guys are completely full of shit. You make a post on topic, of blackjack, critical or questioning things they say or claim (as I did above) and they can only respond with completely unrelated Hate attacks. They can't respond to valid criticism. I mean this is supposed to be a mature 60 year old man, writing the shit Moses writes. Just sad....really sad!
