Kew does too. Only he's not brave enough to admit it. Instead, he prefers to make believe he's a lover not a fighter, when he's THE most conflict-driven/contradiction-filled hypocrite ever on the forums.

I don't "hate" anybody dannyj, no person, no group of people like a political party. Hate is a cancer that destroys people. Usually hate is based on some sort of jealousy or just because someone appears different an if you take the time to talk and get to know that person, more often than not you will find you have much more in common that differences.

I may not like what a person or party stands for, or even what a person does....say trolling behavior on a forum, or worse yet, intentionally misleading other players with bullshit mathematically impossible claims, but I still don't "hate" anyone. Or I may hate that some forum owner isn't big enough to admit his mistake, but I don't hate anyone. And I will never hate a group of people, whether political party, or group of people like Latinos or middle eastern decent. There are good and bad people in all groups and I try to judge people individually based on their actions and words.

AS far as democrats, I have been registered independent, democrat and now republican and despite what mickey says, I consider myself an independent. I look at candidates for each office and vote according to who closest shares my values that has a chance to win. Those last 6 words are important because often a libertarian or other third party candidate is closest to my values, but I won't just throw my vote away. So I am forced to vote for who is closest to sharing my values that has a reasonable expectation of winning.

Ideally, I should be registered independent, but the problem with that is you are locked out primaries and the process of selecting candidates. You have to let others select the candidates and then pick from that group. I prefer to be part of that process.
Sorry I put words in your mouth KJ.

KJ, If you don't like the repubs anymore you should REALLY dislike the dems then.

That system is very different from the state of Massachusetts where I live. No one gets locked out of primaries especially independent voters who make up a huge contingency of the actual voters, "reflected by the many Republican Governors elected". When an independent shows up at the primaries to vote he/she is asked what type of ballot Dem/Rep ballot they want. There is a huge flaw in our system as many people who are already strong one party line voters FROM BOTH SIDES registered as independents for the chance to vote for the weak opposition candidate of the opposing party in the primaries, especially if your own pick is running unopposed. Dirty politics you better believe it, Mass voters take a back seat to no one. The last three previous Speakers of the House "all Dems" all have spent time in prison for crookedness on the state elected job.

Dirty politics? Shenanigans in politics? Hard to believe Bosox. Seems like such an honorable profession. I particularly like how someone gets elected to like congressman and has no real money. 6 years later he gets ousted and is a multi-millionaire from a job that pays 100k. No payoffs happening there. Lol.

I was an independent in Pa and we didn't get to choose. We were locked out of primary voting. I believe it was the same here in Nevada although can't swear to it. I was an independent my first few years here and then switched to Republican in 2015.

My late partner/spouse was one of those big lever party guys and we used to fight about it all the time. I don't care who anyone votes for but you should know who you are voting for. One time here in Nevada after we voted, I asked who he voted for for state treasurer or some office like that? He responded "the Democrat" (which I already knew). I said but he is a registered sex offender convicted of rape years ago. Wasn't true, but proved my point. He had no idea who He was voting for or what they stood for.
