The Mega Satellites are now over at The Bike but on Saturday, New Year's Eve day, they will have one table satellites. I played in the 4pm Mega Satellite, but only 5 positions won tournament entry chips, and I finished with about 15 players left. The blinds went up every 15 minutes so you literally had to keep winning something in each level in order to keep ahead of the blinds advancing.

I'm off to play at the Bike... at the 5pm tourney. This is a non-ring event, and a low buy in of $150. The actual circuit event started today with the first ring event earlier in the day.

I am updating this as I play. At table #30 and WSOP traveling dealers are at the tables.

First break is over and I am one of the big stacks but more than 500 players so too early to tell anything. Going to be a long night I hope.

Update at 8:35pm. We are on the second break now and two players busted out last hand with three players going all-in before the action came to me. I folded with J-10 offsuit but had I called I would have won as two 10s flopped. The other three were all playing Ace-rag and the A7 hit a seven on the turn. This was the second big pot I would have won had I played. Earlier I had Ad7d with two players betting 10X the BB pre flop and I could not call. Three diamonds came on the flop and the pot would have been mine and I would have knocked out the other two players.

9:50 PM. Just busted after two in rapid succession table moves. Blinds and antes killed me and didn't draw decent cards. Final hand 92 off in big blind with nothing left.

Ahhh.... If we only knew what cards were coming.
