It has stayed $1,200 ever since 1970's. In 2019, $1200 is no longer a really big deal. In 2019, many people have a $2,000 a month living budget. When you add taxes, that $1200 win is $804 take home pay, once again, not really all that impressive. And there were actually talks about lowering the Jackpot Threshold to $600, HALF, when it should have at least doubled, what an unfunny joke. That proposal was understandably vetoed, no surprise. $2,500 is what it should be raised to at the very least.
