Thread: Boyd puts bubble wrap on craps tables

  1. #1
Boyd Gaming is now adding a thin layer of bubble wrap. Flat side up, under the layouts of its craps tables. Crews complain that dice are bouncing off the tables too many times. Management said they wanted more random boynces.

When Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh first got table games in 2011-ish, the craps tables were so bouncy you would have sworn there were rocket springs underneath the layout or something. I don't even want to know how much money they lost from a game speed perspective having to call "no roll" over and over again as the dice would fly off the table. Took them 2 years to fix it too.

And casinos used to hire coolers and do all kinds of crazy stuff because sometimes the people making these decisions are complete f****** idiots. Some completely stupid dumbass probably thought he witnessed a bunch of yo's in a row and decided to put bubble wrap under there.

How would they even know they want a more random roll? Are they tracking rolls? That's highly doubtful. So the next logical answer would be they seem to be losing more money than they think they should be if that's the case, they should look at the most obvious answer.... SOMEONE'S PROBABLY CHEATING and no bubble wrap will help them with that aspect.
