Thread: Should Casinos have money in reserve for victims?

  1. #1
I remember a guy saying that he was playing near an elderly lady and a younger man and woman near her suddenly begun chatting up her, "nicely", asking her questions such as if she had any Grandkids, where she was from, and if she played in that Casino often. The guy said his hackles were raised even when they were being "nice."

Then, all of a sudden, the younger man stopped being nice, went in the poor elderly lady's personal space without her permission and said something like,"I oughta kick your ass so bad right now!" The elderly lady was understandably unnerved and pressed cash out to leave and looked at the way too close young man. The young woman stole the TITO while the elderly lady was being distracted. All of a sudden, the man was no longer interested in threatening the elderly lady and he and his female accomplice both left. The elderly lady looked around for her TITO and cried when she realized it had been stolen. The first guy decided to help her out and help her report the incident to the Casino Management. Management checked the TITO and told her that it "she "cashed it about one minute after she pressed cash out. .

The first guy pointed out that she was threatened and then robbed and some complete strangers had ran off with her ticket/money. The Casino Management berated the elderly lady for not actually looking at the TITO after pressing cash out(Seriously? The poor elderly lady was legitimately scared for her safety when that guy threatened her!) and refused to give her back her stolen money. The elderly lady was understandably not happy at all with the Management ddcision and being robbed/threatened in the first place. I feel that there should be money in reserve for victims like that.

Contrast this to a high roller who was playing in Borgata Casino or something like that when he suddenly had to pee really badly and ran to the bathroom from his game without pressing cash out and he said during mid pee he realized he accidentally left $2,000 unattended in a game, was horrified, but finished peeing, washed up quickly and ran back to his slot only to see that the TITO was already gone. He asked Casino Management to help him out and they tracked the TITO and the Camera.

Some idiot woman had stolen the TITO and instead of cashing out the TITO and running out the door, like a smart person would have done, she stuck the TITO into another machine and sat there playing like an idiot. The Casino Management and the high roller Victim confronted her and she claimed that the money she was playing with was money she brought in with her. The CM told her he caught her on camera stealing his TITO and then walking to the machine she was at now. She was forced to give back the TITO, was banned for life, and whatever money she lost was given back to him from reserved money.

That should be all Casinos policies. Give Victims money from reserve money.

Turn your TITO around and look at the legalese on the back.

Those terms dictate the contract between you and the TITO.

Why did you start a new thread for this instead of posting this gibberish in Nathan’s forum? Also you made all that ish up anyway.

I mentioned this on another Gambling website, and the reply was something like,"Your money in reserve for victims is a good idea in theory, but in reality, the Casinos wouldn't go for this because Crooks would just "steal," TITO(s)from their Crook Partner(s) and the Crook Partner would claim that they got robbed, get the reserved money back and then each get a portion of both the "stolen," and the reserved money with their Crook Partners.

For example, Tom and Mark are friends who are in on the planned scam together. Tom puts a $1,000 in his slot, plays about $100 of it. Mark pretends to be offering $50 for a gold necklace. Tom "distracts" Mark who is looking at the gold necklace appearing to be contemplating buying this gold necklace. Tom stealthily "steals," Mark's $900 TITO and "Claims," that he realized he really needed to keep that gold necklace and thanks Mark for his time and then runs and cashes in the TITO and then runs out the door. Mark "realizes," his $900 TITO has been "stolen," and reports the theft. The Casino Management feels sorry for Mark and gives Mark $900 from the Reserved Money. Later, Mark and Tom have $1800 combined. Mark gets $1350(his original $900 plus half of the reserved money and Tom gets $450(Half of the reserved money).

Do you see why Casinos wouldn't take this risk of giving victims reserved money? How do they know the "Perpetrator" and the "Victim," aren't in on it together?" This person had a very valid point.

    This is Barney

My bestest friend the LID who is a professional player of the craps, slut machine devices and video poker hustler, said he has noticed a team of low life vulturers operating in midwest casinos. They get players, especially ladies, to leave the VP device with multipliers on them with a very tasteless routine but not against any laws that I am aware of. This vulture team has one or two personages in it who have skill at calling up on demand a certain body function. They go up to unsuspecting mark playing the multiplier game, and sit very close to them on adjacent device. The vulture personage proceeds to pass an extreme amount of gas which causes the ladies and sometimes men to leave their machine immediately with the multipliers left on them. They don't have to intimidate anyone but just have to have a special talent.

That's more of the lines of "Coerced into leaving Multipliers," then outright theft. There is a similar scheme where Vultures see a machine with lots of multipliers, but there is already someone playing on it, so they claim that another game is very hot and has been giving out Jackpots for most of the day. The Mark falls for it, goes to "Hot" game, loses, gets NO Jackpots, and then goes back to first machine , only to see that the "Helpful tipper," is now playing that machine and is winning big. They feel duped.

I now see it. Tasha and Barney were made for each other. Both understand jibberish.

It’s a scam where a team targets a market and confederate comes by to take down the multipliers.

Same scam is used on Scarabs and other slot machines like Aladdin, Plant & Zombies, etc, etc

A guy on a Filipino crew claims he got a team kicked out of Thunder Valley for this (thereby eliminating competition) by taking a video of it on a smartphone and showing it to security . . .

Some these “Filipino’s” are the biggest cheats in the casino’s around Sacramento & North Bay. One unnamed casino recently caught a Filipino “cheat”.

If you are talking about the Moroccan’s named Ibrahim and his wife Ruby at Thunder Valley, they were given a 1 year suspension (along with their Palestinian buddy Alex) in September / October 2018. Ibrahim and company went to Red Hawk and Jackson (but couldn’t scam players at Jackson in the back where the VP machines with UX are located) and was seen some months ago at Chumash.

I retired so my intel might be rusty. I used to belong to another private website that had all the good intel but I quit that website. I don’t miss the smoke and hustlers constantly checking the buttons. I do miss the monthly free plays, but I have made enough money.

I only know what the guy on the Filipino crew claimed - he did not describe the people he got kicked out by telling security (story might or might not be true), so I will take your word for it. The Filipino crewman only told me this (whether true or not) so that he could lure me and my teammate to Thunder Valley, possibly so that they would have more shit to pick off at the location they told me this at since we would be trying to pick shit off at Thunder Valley instead. Or it could have been a honey pot to get us over there to Thunder Valley so that we could be flyered everywhere since Thunder Valley is on High Alert. Like you said, I wouldn't put anything past these pieces of shit (these piles of manure hate us for not falling for their evil traps). In any case we didn't listen to these sacks of shit and we work where we want to work. Since we don't do anything wrong, they can film us on their smart phones all they want. I would never talk someone off a machine and neither would my teammate.
By the way, apart from this interaction, the Filipino crew has never spoken to us.
You've probably noticed that most Filipinos are Smiling Assassins - very cordial to your face and then non-stop backstabbing otherwise. I can still remember the mind games they tried to play back in my high school days all those years ago. I hope they die of cancer.
