why spend so much effort here and at WoV touting your handicapping "greatness"

Good question...why?...what is he up to?

It would be so easy to post evidence of winning plays and overall success, but he's never done that...yet he expects to be recognized as a winner.

I refer you to "Tipsters or Gypsters?" and the Wise Guys Contest. I also refer to you my wonderful late cousin, E.R.Dietz, and his plays in the Retro Road Trip thread. It's only a rumor thus far, but I hear that E.R. may be coming back from the dead next month.
