Yes....there's more than one way to skin a cat.
Yesterday I returned from a couple nights in the LV area. Not gonna say why I went, but it's one of the few times I've ever gone without expecting to "win" money.
I went to 17 casinos, including a PT's Gold that served an absolutely horrible 6am breakfast (I didn't make the trip to sleep and stayed up over 50 hours). The highlight of my visit was at the Silverton of all places, where I consider it poetic justice for several reasons, that I hit a $4000 royal on a $1 bet.
"So many hours of play" is what you're probably thinking---"he had to have lost his ass!" Well, not quite. I came home with a $3100 profit after all expenses were deducted. And that royal was the only winner better than a FH I had!
Looks like Reno/Tahoe better look at banning Singer this summer.
Edit: This might stump a few. A $4k royal on a $1 bet?? Well, it WAS and it WASN'T a dollar bet.
