Thread: Ex-Ap/EVBandit False Assumptions and False Allegations

  1. #1
In the Triple Play Questions thread at WoV, EVBandit, known here as Ex-Ap, puts out some false information about variance and also goes after Mission146 and Tringlomane with insults. It's a short thread but pretty funny because everyone from the Wizard on down disagreed with Ex-AP/EVBandits assertions. Ex-Ap does the usual of trying to make himself look intelligent. But he's really just a goofball idiot. Doesn't take long to read. Click the link then scroll back to page one:

    https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=AwrW...OUg.0B0aWbjjs-

What is even more hilarious is Wizard gave ex-ap/evbandit a 3 day suspension. That was on Jan 24, 2020. It's now Feb 18 and ex-ap/evbandit is still in red. He made his last post on Jan 21. It looks like they forgot all about the idiot as he hasn't been reinstated. HAHA!!
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Because I quit WoVegas. I stated in that thread that I did not want to play games. The OP asked about “variance”, Mission responded about “variance” and I addressed “variance” and now they want to play games. They can play all the games they want.

This post by Mickey shows I got under his skin and validates my efforts.

I told you Mickey you haven’t kept up with the times especially how you DID NOT know about Las Vegas casinos changing game returns over servers about 14 years ago.

And in a separate post, you are bragging about your current “six figure bankroll”. All those years being a “machine pro” and you only got a 6-figure bankroll. I knew you were a clown.

In this tweet, it appears you are driving a Pontiac. We all know Pontiac’s stopped making new cars about 10 years ago.

You're a goofball clown. I knew this thread would chap your ass. You've gone after a lot of people in your short posting career at WoV and VCT. It's your turn in the barrel, bitch. UnJon said that your posts are "offputting." I say your posts are quackery. You got a screw loose, dude. Mission, Tringlomane and the Wizard ate your fucking lunch over your assertions about variance. You're so dumb you think you are smart. HAHAHA!

Now for your dumass assertions in your post. I haven't worked Las Vegas since about 2002. So why would I give a fuck about them changing game returns in 2006. You're a fucking little crybaby bitch.

For your Inspector Clouseau bullshit investigation about the age of my car. I once posted up on twitter that I buy 11 year old cars. So you didn't have to go look for any evidence on the age of my car. You could have just put that quote up where I said I buy 11 year old cars instead of playing it off like you found some super fucking secret of mine. That's the kind of fucked up person you are. I pay cash for them. Usually in the 5 to 6K range. I put about 50K miles a year on them. At least I was before the heart attack. Why in the fuck would I want to buy new cars and put that kind of mileage on them. I would quadruple the cost of driving. This is the kind of shit financial advisers tell people to do. Use your fucking head for something besides a puss sack. And an 11 year old car gets a permanent plate for $180 in Montana. My plates are always permanent. If you don't like what I drive I don't give a fuck.

Now, here you are talking about a six figure bankroll ain't jackshit. Then why the fuck were you taking finder's fee's for 10K must hits? I'll tell you why. You didn't have the Bankroll to play them off yourself. In other words, you're a fucking bustout, a broke ass bitch.

When he said you drive an old car I thought to myself, "Smart, that's a lower cost of driving for all those miles."

I just remembered that the last time I was on Gambling With An Edge I mentioned early on that I buy cars that are at least 10 years old and cost between 5 and 6k. And I mentioned that I had driven 55K miles in the past year.

    Here's the drill.

When some fool picks out a fact they read about you online just to mock and denigrate you for it, you've gotten under their skin. If this guy found a post with mickey's pic in it, we'd be hearing all sorts of ugly old man and unintelligent geezer insults, because that's what bozos do. If what was said about him wasn't true the the buzzard would just deny it and not be bothered.

And big deal about the age of the car. I'm a fan of the older models but I have a wife, and all she knows and cares about is "new cars look good, she'd rather be seen driving them, and they have a smaller chance of breaking down". So it's always "roll out the dough" whenever we buy a car. Not efficient at all, but one of the reasons why I've been married over 41 years.

Mr Singer, this is the first time I feel that you are speaking from a real personal expertise.

    Thank you for the insight.

Mickey - don't let this ex-ap wind you up too much. His posts are interesting but he tries to obfuscate shit behind some book knowledge. That is the only thing I know for sure. I just wonder when he talks specifically about machines, how accurate it is or smoke and mirrors.

It's all relative to your own personal situation.
I recently bought a 2008 mustang to drive around town as a beater.
I didn't pay much for it and could really care less about it.
It gets me from point A to B.
Gas Mileage is bad but I change gears at higher rpms for some fun.
I pay hardly anything in insurance and registration.

I also had a situation at the end of the year where I had to spend a large sum of money.
    Decided to buy a 2019 F 250.
I paid like 725 dollars just for registration.
Oddly enough the insurance was very low... not sure why... maybe bundling and discounts.

    What a dumb purchase though.
Replacing Brakes and other parts will be astronomical.
    Oil Changes are expensive.
Gas Mileage is like 15 mpg or less.
I bought it outright and figure with everything it will cost 5k to 6k per year to drive it.
Factor in what I paid for it and I'm looking at about 800 per month depending on how long I own it.
200 Dollars per week to own this monster.
Basically 30 dollars a day to drive it.
Depending on use it will most likely cost me 2 dollars or more per mile.
    Just insane.

I washed it after I took a week vacation to Utah for snowmobiling and renting an A Frame Cabin in the Mountains.
Took me 3 hours to wash it by hand and detail it somewhat.

    Live and Learn.

Ok, I guess everyone has figured I'm not savvy on lots of stuff. So seriously, what is variance? Another way of asking, what is the difference between variance and hot and cold cycles.

Years ago Doug Reul developed a formula called the Volatility Index. It morphed into being called variance by the video poker community. I don't know the exact formula but it has to do with the probability of making each hand, the payoff for each hand, and square root thereof is in there somewhere. Then it's added all up and based on 600 hands per hour. It's a measure of how much you figure to be up or down on average per one hour of play.

Thanks, Mickey. That was something of common sense, I just didn't comprehend- it had nothing to do with what I was thinking.

Monet, maybe you can sell it or declare it as something you no longer drive with DMV, if you want.

I have a few options and like I said before this was money that had to be spent on a big ticket item.
Sort of Free Money in a way so it doesn't really matter.

I think my point was that you get crushed when you buy or own a new vehicle in all directions.
I've bought 5 new vehicles in the last 15 years for various reasons.
Usually because of a certain situation or outside pressure/influence.
I think about the people who buy these vehicles who aren't in a Freeroll situation.
I mean they just do it just because lol.

I am sure you already know but you just get killed on everything.
Just the Sales Tax alone can buy you a used vehicle that could easily last you 5 to 10 years.

Sometimes I just try to wrap my head around what is going on with roads, vehicles and the government.
I mean I get it... If you Want you have to Pay.

So we the tax payers pay for the roads and the upkeep on the roads.
If we want to drive on OUR roads we have to pay for a license and they even got the insurance connected these days.
Years ago you could drive without insurance but not these days in most states.
If you lapse one day on your insurance they tax you with a fee of something like 140 dollars!
I made a mistake once online and typed in the 26th instead of the 25th.
Sure enough DMV mailed me a notice that I missed one day of insurance on my vehicles and had to pay the fee to be reinstated.

Anyways so we pay for the roads and pay to maintain them through tax dollars.
We pay to drive on the roads through licenses, insurance and registration.
Some roads are toll roads so you have to pay to drive on those because the state sold the road to another country/company.
So you pay for that road, pay to maintain it and pay a toll to drive on it lol.

If you buy a brand new car from a business they crush you with 8% sales tax so a 40k vehicle costs you 3200 dollars Tax lol.
Brand New means more money for registration.
Not sure why since it is better on emissions and everything else but if you want that luxury they say you pay more.
My 12 year old vehicle pays 80 dollars in registration... go figure.

Anyways, its goofy but whatever... gonna die one of these days anyways

I like the truck all in all but hopefully I would inform anyone who wants to buy a truck to buy something smaller.
Never, Ever buy an F 250 or 2500 series unless you have a very large Garage or Parking Space at your House like RV Space or what not.
Even if you have the room for this type of vehicle it's a pain for city life with parking, driving and whatever else you can think of.
On the plus side it has a ton of room and comfort in the 4 door cabin.
I had no problem going up steep inclines with snow covered roads.
I haven't towed anything yet but I am sure it is a beast for that sort of thing.

    Couple pictures of the Vacation.
Perhaps I will make a thread and share some more later on.
It was nice to get away and hide up in the mountains for a week at high elevation.
I bought a bunch of wood and cranked that wood stove every night.
Had to open the windows and use fans to keep the upstairs somewhat cool.
    Fun to me.

That truck sounds like a good deal. You folks have no idea the waste that comes with driving an RV that gets 5mpg on a good day, costs over $200 for an oil change, insures for a ransom, registers for an amount Mini Mike would toot about, stores for a fee that would make Mormons wish they were gay, and has the upkeep of a Donald Trump ex-wife.

That F-250 should make you be all smiles.

Thanks for posting the terrific pics Monet - I'm glad you had a lot of fun on your trip. I forgot if I posted this already, but one time, back around 2007, I got on an expressway (I had a rental) so that I could get to the north suburbs of Chicago from where I was in Rosemont. Well guess what, I could not exit this expressway without paying a toll - that's right, you have to pay a toll or you can't get off the expressway legally. Really dovetails into your point about how the government is gouging us in every way with respect to roads and in many other areas of our lives too IMHO.

Here's some stuff that Ex-AP/EVBandit wrote about me at WoV recently. I had to put it up in two pics because of the size:

In evbandit's 2nd paragraph he says that the best advertised RTP on the IGT VBJ he ever saw was 99.7%. I played this game off and on from 2000 to 2007. I never seen an advertisement for the game anywhere so I don't know where evbandit came up with this. I did see the payback screen on some machines when slot mechanics were working on them. It said 99.5%. But the game had a higher payback because of two glitches.

Note: evbandit says that he knew several people that independently verified the payback was 99.7%.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Evbandit goes on to say "some versions of the game had an unannounced rule of split ace catch paint pays 3:2 but pushes on dealer BJ."

This is an ambiguous statement. It's a misrepresentation.

    1. It wasn't "some versions." There was only one version and it was the only version I played.

    2. When you split aces and caught a ten value card you were automatically payed 3:2 blackjack. If you made the blackjack on the first ace it would rack up the credits then move to the 2nd ace. If you made the blackjack on the 2nd ace it would rack up the credits and the hand was over. The dealer would not draw cards. The only time the dealer drew cards was when one or more of your hands were not BJ's.

Note: On WOO, in his rules variations charts, the Wizard puts the add-on for this rule at 0.19%.
