MDawg, do me a favor, if you want to insult me with basically the same things you've already said out in the open. Don't send me private messages with the same exact nonsense. I've Let It Go for long enough. Do you really think you're going to get a different response or answer? I understand you've taken some criticism because you say the same old stupid s*** that actually makes you look bad, but you have a burning desire to get the last shot in. If you have a legitimate reason to send me a private message, feel free to do so. You know, perhaps you want to finally confess you have a little tiny dick or something.

I tried to take things one step at a time. I asked you to quote some things you claimed I said. You still haven't done so. However, not once, but twice, you've managed to post up some other nonsense that Freddy posted on another forum. If he's our go-to guy for accurate unbiased information, you're pretty much fucked.

When I have the time, Kirk.

I re-activated one of my lines, from the Old Days, from the days of the Old Ones, at one of the high-end Majors on the Strip, towards the tail end of our last trip in Feb/March 2020. They approved it, I went in and signed for it, and it was good to go. But, was too busy winning at the other three resorts we stayed at that trip, and especially given my these days anyway rule of "Play Where You Stay," I never drew on the new line or got around to playing there.

I run my Central Credit and NCC Reports (the two credit bureaus that track casino credit) once a year, and when I did, I noticed that this new line was listed as inactive, and some kind of "per trip" line versus a permanent one. Never had or even heard of a TTO line before, so I called casino credit directly. She said that I needed to come in and play more regularly for them to make it a permanent line, and that I had not been there in a while, so they made the line inactive.

"But no one's been in, in a while, due to coronavirus!"

"Yes, but you haven't played since ____."

Yes well actually, she was right. She was looking at it along the lines of someone who had a line for almost two decades, who hadn't been in, in over a decade.

I should have just asked her

    What about the Old Ones?

Instead, I didn't argue with her just contacted my host and at first he thought it was because I had not come in and signed and presented ID for the line yet, but when he realized that I had done that some months ago, he cut right to it and told me that when I'm ready to come in the line will be open. I told him no hurry anyway, just wanted you to know what needs to be done when we do come back. I like this host in that he's not forceful whatsoever and knows that we players will be back when we feel comfortable with the coronavirus situation.

Anyway, none of that matters today. What matters today is that futures come in green, and TSLA goes up tomorrow. If not tomorrow, at least this week!

Looks like you are a small Baccarat player compared to this guy. He does it for a living, lol. And the casino pays him to come back and rape them.

I will have to check that thread out.

But, as you know, two big differences:
    1) I don't play Baccarat for a living, as his title states he does.
    2) I don't play regional little casinos...Vegas only.

But if he's winning and getting away with it, more power to him.

Aren't all of the baccarat players on that site raping casinos daily without consequence?

Whether you want to believe that a person may win at Baccarat, or not - there are almost never any consequences to winning at what the casino perceives as a game of chance. The one example I can think of was when Kerry Packer raped the MGM for a grip of money, something like $20M as I recall, in 1995 after the casino manager raised his limit to $500K per hand. He was banned from the MGM after that, BUT he was playing both Baccarat and BJ, so maybe the BJ had something to do with his being banned.

Ironically, he came back to Bellagio in 2001, toting an oxygen tank and everything, on his last leg more or less in life, and dumped all he had won - and by then, Bellagio was owned by MGM, so actually, he gave back to MGM all he had won. I was actually present right then, I was on the very first plane that flew after the grounding of September 11th, and arrived in Vegas that Monday I believe it was, and I saw Packer playing in the back at his own grand Bacc. table. They didn't have private salons in those days yet, but they did have private tables.

Not as much as the Roulette guys. They put a few casinos out of business. And have cool names like Genius.

From the old days, maybe a hundred years ago, when biased roulette wheels still existed, there are verified stories of players taking casinos for staggering sums.

There are legitimate contemporary stories of Baccarat players who have put the lights out of Caribbean casinos.

In Europe, when a table was "busted" from a player's winning too much, they drew something like a table cloth over it - which is where the expression comes from en Francais.

Have you ever seen the movie "The Winner"? (1996) At the end Philip converts a suitcase of $250K in cash into one glowing surreal token that he puts on the Wheel of Fortune, and, presumably, wins, as the lights go out, at that casino, all the neighboring casinos, and all over Las Vegas. From the expression, "put the casino's lights out."

Seriously, you are smarter than than using a movie to make a point.

Anyone who ever got shut down from playing Baccarat was either cheating or was playing at limits the casino had no reason to accept based on their bankroll or tolerance for losses. Casinos do get greedy at times thinking the HA will always come out in their favor. They forget they need the bankroll to survive the swings on such a low HA game.

I read through some of the "Baccarat for a Living" thread at GF.

I get it - it's easy to look at it and wonder if this is the whole story, and whether the guy might be winning at one casino and losing at another. The same thoughts some of you had with my Adventures thread. But there is a simplicity to the way he tells the story that rings truthfully, to my thinking. Everything he mentions is possible, and about the only disproportionate aspect of his story is the level of comps he claims to be getting against his play. He seems to be a cash player judging from how he is showing a stack of cash up in the suite "getting ready to play" before he goes down to the floor. As a cash player he wouldn't get the same level of comps as a recurrent credit line player. And the play numbers he describes don't seem to quite warrant fifteen grand in promotional chips monthly, if that is what he is saying - that he gets that much every single month. (Back then I used to get five grand in promotional chips somewhat regularly, but by no means each month.)

However, to earn his fifteen grand in promo chips, he might play something like the way I used to play over a decade ago - before my decade or so hiatus - when I had $20K lines - if I lost at one casino I'd run across the street and win it back promptly, pay off the first casino, and then keep playing. Sometimes this would happen three deep where one casino would show a sixty grand loss all paid off, while I had won much more at other casinos. If this guy plays like that, constantly running between different casinos winning at one to pay the other, they might view him as more like a sixty grand player instead of just a twenty, and then maybe he might warrant getting all those comps. Also he appears to be playing at some regional casino, so maybe their comp requirements are lower tier than those in Vegas.

It is interesting that within that GF thread someone said something about how he would need to be playing average $3000. per hand to get that level of comps, because that is exactly the average bet I used to maintain back then. Also, the type of extreme play he describes that he learned to overcome - swinging forty grand back and forth between plus and minus twenty K at a time regularly - that is exactly the way I used to be too. So maybe he is describing the same sort of learning curve process I experienced that brought me to the disciplined play that helps me win almost every session these days. I certainly don't tear back and forth between casinos in a heartbeat any longer to make up losses, and I don't swing regularly between plus twenty and minus twenty any more. Nowadays, if I should lose at one session at one casino, I don't chase it immediately - I mean; I am a much more emotionless consistent player these recent years.

In any case I made a post in his thread and suggested that if he wanted to address any detractors he could post videos of his online casino accounts to substantiate the wins, the way I have. But whether he does or not it's a cool thread, albeit not as detailed or as well written as mine.

    Wynn buffet re-opening June 18th.
    https://m.lasvegassun.com/news/2020/...pen-this-week/

From communications with my host I understand that they will be accepting table reservations - this is new, before whether you were a Tower Suites guest, a "star" key holder or holding a VIP Pass, still you could not book a table in advance, and also now food will be brought to you as you select it from your table. This makes sense - trying to get people to distance socially while lining up at the buffet tables might not have worked out.

I hope the menus they provide at the tables will be visual in nature.

    Bring me sum ribs!

Over all, Wynn/Encore is really trying to present a full court press - all restaurants, spas (except for wet areas), fitness facilities, pools, golf course, VIP lounges, full cocktail service, all gaming areas, pretty much everything is OPEN as before, other than of course day and night clubs.

Buffet-wise, I understand that T.I. for example - has given up, closed its buffet permanently and is converting the area into an extension of its sports book.

In Massachusetts, EVERYone will be wearing a mask. No craps, no poker, no roulette.
    https://www.reviewjournal.com/busine...masks-2055422/

Some of the proposed restrictions by the MA Gaming Commission, such as turning off not one but TWO machines between active machines were so restrictive the the casino declared that such a plan wouldn’t make the slot floor financially viable. As well, plexiglass that could provide six feet social distancing has been hard to come by - the best the casinos could find are 5 by 10 feet. Back to the drawing board!

Although Baccarat is not mentioned specifically (blackjack, roulette, craps, poker are mentioned), Masks will now be required for all players where there is no plexiglass barrier between players and the dealers:

    https://www.reviewjournal.com/busine...evada-2055601/

“Licensees must require patrons to wear face coverings at table and card games if there is no barrier, partition or shield between the dealer and each player,” the new guidance said. “This requirement applies to table and card game players, spectators and any other person within 6 feet of any table or card game.”

Given the choice between a mask and a plexiglass barrier, I suppose I'd rather wear a mask. The images I've seen at least at Baccarat tables show a small slot through which the cards are dealt. We are still allowed to handle the cards in midi-Baccarat. I'd probably end up cutting the top of my hand on plexiglass every time I slammed the winning hands down. Or I'd have to reduce myself to snapping the winning cards down feebly within the confines of that slot.

If they have to shut down entire restaurants and areas of the casino just because one person tests positive, that's really going to be a huge issue.
