Why don't you go back to eating your yee-ros, that's something you may understand and may relate to - which, I'll be honest, when I read about how you had one last night and I was stuck in $1.2M worth of AMZN at a loss on what was supposed to be a ten minute trade, I was envying you your simple life. For about an hour, until I got a fill at 3106, and felt like a King again.

You know, if you wanted to unwind the trade and knew what you were doing - I doubt too many blocks of 400 sh of AMZN were filled at 3106 today, at the time my trade was filled. AMZN barely hit that price and then collapsed again. If you knew where to look, you could probably find it.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I pay people to manage my money; your made up tales of day trading do not impress or persuade.

BTW, there's always gonna be folks bigger, richer, and smarter than you, little man; I learned this lesson long ago and unlike you I have no need to build myself up in the eyes of hostile strangers.

You're such a masochist, posting lies and drivel day after day and getting smacked in the kisser by those who know better.

But hey, it takes all types: doctors, lawyers, indian chiefs and lying sack of shit bullshit artists such as yourself.

And yet you spend your time posting on gambling forums all day to a small audience a people who mostly don't believe you. Not to mention, you have no personal connection with anyone as you have never met a single person from the forums. Hell, you are not even and one of the three main categories people who can the post on the Forum. AP's, Anti AP's and mathematicians.

I got a total of 3 hours of sleep last night I've managed to read and post on the forums all morning good afternoon, I played an online casino, made some online transactions, fed and played with the animals, I helped my Wife with some stuff around the house, reformatted a computer, I started planning some AP stuff via text, talked to a few friends on the phone and discussed some business. I will be cooking some filet mignon then heading out to meet up with friends to get some exercise and activity in, Ill be hitting up a casino for a short period of time, Ill come back and then take my wife out for dinner, then I'll probably do something around the house and then hop on the net. And this is a lazy BS day. You will be here yearning for my next post.

I call brokers robber barons. I learned about them the hard way soon after I got started with all this over two decades ago as a pup.

Anyway, not that it matters, but if you want to let someone churn your account to no end, be my guest. I assume what you actually mean is that you just hold some funds and let some firm pick them for you. I doubt you have enough in the market for an individual broker to want to bleed you dry.

To be honest, you're merely a legal professional. Which is fine. You know about divorce law and that's about it. Most doctors and lawyers are poor businessmen, and you're no exception. It's okay to recognize that and let someone else handle what you earn - but guaranteed you've been swindled before by someone who convinced you to put your few extra dollars here or there. Unless you're lying about being a lawyer or doctor, along the way you're been taken for a ride. I am no exception - a broker got me for something when I first started doing this too, and I wasn't even a lawyer yet.

However, you appear to at least have some money in the market. Bozos like AxelAss and jbjb don't have two nickels to rub together and have no idea what is going on with the market, or in high limit gaming, which is why they can't recognize the real thing when it is before them. As someone here already pointed out, the more they talk the more ignorant they appear.

What you call brokers swindling I call their fee.

But yes, it's a wicked world.

One reason I avoid day trading is because it must be a real nightmare come tax time.

Most of my invested funds are in IRA's (both personal and inherited) so there's no immediate need to deal with the tax man, and that suits me just fine.

Maybe I'm paranoid but I keep a substantial chunk of change "under the mattress" (actually in the bank), earning next to nothing: I don't want all my funds at risk.

I recall my secretary's brother in law was a retired businessman who invested heavily in tech stocks and Amazon back around Y2K; I can't recall the year but I'm sure you'll recall how the market imploded.

By report he'd parlayed less than a million to seven or more million, and after the crash he had very little left.

    Emotionally it destroyed him.

If in the highly unlikely event you actually are doing what you claim (ahem) be sure to have other funds available if and when the market tanks, as it has a habit of doing periodically.

I am jealous of your full, active day. I sleep for 7 hours each night, a 2 hour nap each day and another 3-4, some times 5 hours thought out the day in my recliner.

Going on a year after my covid illness, I am still having MAJOR fatigue issues and sleep anywhere from 10-12 hours on a good day to 14 or more on a bad day.

KJ, you had other serious health issues (heart problems), so there's no shame in taking it easy.

Well the biggest problem I've run into at tax time is with the wash sale rule, ever since the 1099B started reporting BASIS about twelve years ago or so, as I recall. Before that, I would just keep track of trades on a spreadsheet, which, yes, was and is a pain, and then just give the numbers to the accountant. Now the 1099B reports all these "disallowed" wash sales, and my CPA has had to start including some addendum that notes that I elected trader status and that the wash sale rule doesn't apply to me.

For example today I bot 100 AMZN at 3129
    100 @ 3111
    200 @ 3091

    Then I sold all 400 @ 3106.

Unwinding it for the IRS, on a LIFO basis, that means I lost 23 pts on one trade, -2300
lost 5 pts on another trade, -500
but made 15 points on the third trade, +3000

For an over all profit of $200.

Yet, pursuant to the wash sale rule, the IRS disallows the -2800 loss as I rebought (or will rebuy) AMZN again within 30 days (I buy and sell AMZN almost daily), and recognizes only the 3000 profit! unless I have elected trader status and provide my own basis figures for my tax return end of each year. It also gets complicated because I retain long term shares of AMZN and many other stocks that I trade.

I am not a strict day trader. I hold long term and then I trade additional shares on top of what I never sell. And if I get stuck in a trade, I average in and switch to position (swing, or
medium term) trading. I am not one of those traders who insists on being "cash only" at the end of each day.

I dunno I just leave it to him to minimize the tax. Just as you "leave it to the professionals" I leave tax matters to my CPA. I just make sure he's understanding that I am a trader otherwise my tax bill would be massive and greater than what I book in trades a year, in that the IRS would be holding its hand out for every profitable segment of a trade and shaking its head about every loss portion.

I do very well at trading, but mostly I suppose I trade for the thrill of it.

Which is another thing that these bozos can't comprehend. If I wanted to make something up I'd just make myself an "Alpha Double Plus" (if you've read Brave New World) while I was at it, and claim to book tens of thousands each day. These are real trades, and sometimes I book a lot sometimes I get stuck and barely book fifty dollars. But I buy on dips and average in if necessary, and ride it out if necessary to make sure I never book a loss. I haven't been stuck beyond some days in some time. Today I would have been stuck holding until at least tomorrow if AMZN hadn't popped back to 3106 before it collapsed again.

What's funny is that generally when I eke out a profit on a trade and pat myself on the back for averaging in and saving my skin within hours, within a few days the stock is back so high that I would have done better to just hold. But as a trader I try not to look back.

Being that you were gone from the forum for a year or two, I don't know if you are aware, but it has been 3 1/2 years since my last heart surgery. Time flies. I made a full recovery and got back to my regular active life for several years. Even ran 2 half marathons. So I was fully past that.

But Covid came along and hit me very hard. I was sick for a whole month in April, had a complication involving inflammation around the heart later in the summer, which I am told is not related to my heart issues, just a fairly common complication. And since about December the fatigue has really come roaring back. Doc, says my heart is fine, it is just a long-term covid thing that some people get. I mean, I shouldn't complain because I am not in any pain, or have no headaches as some have. Just very fatigued. I feel like I am wasting life.

Anyway, it's fine. Just was amused and jealous to read Axel's post where he slept 3 hours a night.

Thank you for your trip report...but if no photos then it didn't happen, and anything can be faked.

I totally agree with you, anything can be faked, including photos, even if the photos are real the circumstances surrounding the photos may not be what one would have us believe. At that point, it comes down to what rings true based on believability, credibility, verification witnesses and history. There's always going to be some troll that claims they don't believe you, instead they pretend to believe the most outrageous of things from guys who lack all of the above(because that's their shtick, you certainly know about that). Given the fact that your buddy FagDog claims to be a lawyer, he should school you in the fact that things coming from multiple sources and Witnesses is much more reliable than something that just one person is claiming.

How incredibly predicable. I was wondering how long it would take you to claim you have something or someone to attend to after my post describing my day knowing you sit in your families basement all day behind the computer waiting eagerly for me to post.

I average more than 3 hours a night, it's not often I only sleep for 3. Usually 4 to 6. Sometimes, I sleep for 4 hours and then 2 hours or some combination of that. I can't remember the last time I slept for 7 hours or more and it doesn't matter how long I've been up for either.

I need me some 8 hour Propofol. Now that's a good sleep...

Your trip report is something that just one person (you) is claiming.

You haven't produced "things" coming from multiple sources or any witnesses
to verify what you ate yesterday, or anything else you claimed about your activities.

I have more excitement before I get out of bed in the morning trading stocks than you do all year, apparently.

As well, you really should drink more it's dulling your sense of humor. You didn't realize that CoachBelly was clowning you when he asked if you had photos to prove what you had done? You also didn't realize that AZDuffman was clowning you over at WOV the other day. You really should get out more AxelW you might find a personality you could borrow from someone in between sips of spicy rum.

Yes I was serious to show that on my most mundane day I do more than you do in a month of sitting behind your computer making up fake stock trades and keeping your BS str8 across multiple forums. I'm not seeking to have daily excitement and entertainment in my life nowadays, been there, done that... for many years. Living in Vegas, I had the freedom and money to drive in the fast lane when I was younger and get it while the getting was good. Nowadays, I tend to pack my fun and excitement into short sessions then chill for a while. Being able to do what I want, when I want makes me happy. In the AP business you can work as little or as much as you want. Since the Covid I haven't been doing much traveling so I'm enjoying the chill time, but soon enough, shit will hit the fan and there will be too much going on.

You won't see me talking about booking a million dollar trade on anything because I don't make up BS like you do.
