I have always taken your advice.

    I always tip zero.

What the fuck do I care about someone who has to pay me my money (or remove it) based on house rules and did nothing to help me win blind luck.

    Tipping dealers is for losers.

I would tip the McDonald's server faster.
Do you not tip on hand pays?
No. One time I did thinking I would get better (quicker) pays but next Jackpot a different person showed up. Tipped them and next Jackpot a new person showed up.

What am I tipping for? They have to get my money one way or the other.

Hard Rock AC has that system as well for jackpots under 10K.

Anything 10K or over still gets hand delivered.

Not sure why, maybe for the publicity.
Nah, it's probably because they don't want any aspersions of trying to skirt the $10,000 CTR rule

For similar reasons most casino redemption machines won't cash out over $3,000 which is what IRS has rules about

Maybe it violates their collective bargaining agreement.

Icahn broke the union at the Taj.

I've seen high-limit players with an attendant at their side while they play, logging the jackpots on a clipboard, and releasing the credits on the machine. No cash exchanged hands, the player kept playing.

But were the Jackpots over $10,000?

I'll go ask to review the surveillance tapes...like Alan did with the 18 yos.

So basically like usual you just talked out your ass

Go through "TheBigJackpot's" YouTube videos to see if he hits any $10k+ at Cosmo and see how they handle it.

That's a projection on your part...the thread reveals that you were talking out your ass.

Do they generate CTRs for every table-game winning hand of $10K or more?

Is $10K in slot credits substantially different than $10K in casino chips,
such that a CTR would be required for slot credits won and not for chips won?

I'm not saying they are acting logical. Just that hard rock management has interpreted the situation to want to avoid possible issues.

    Example:

Hard Rock AC you can have more than $3000 in a slot machine (can't insert it but if you have $2900 and win $1000 you will have $3900 playable

Tropicana if you have $2900 and win $1000 spin the slot Will lock up and require a hand pay for the amount over ($900 in this case)

Ceasars I believe is in the middle. You can't have $3000+ in the slot so in the above scenario you would get a voucher printed for the difference (it's been awhile since I had that happen so maybe it's different now)

These are all based on reporting issues. For example, if you go to the post office and purchase over $3000 in money orders Federal law is they have to get your ID, take your photo and file a report (happened to me a month ago so trust me).

It's no coincidence that $3000 and $10,000 are the magical numbers. And casino staff are just trying to interpret and avoid issues as they see fit

He Who Brays Like A Jackass is apparently in Las Vegas as this is written.

    Which casino?

A forum sleuth, armed with that info, could stake the place out and look for him; should be easy to spot as he'd be the guy who never loses, wears multiple Swiss watches on one arm, and takes his chips away from the table in a wheel barrow.

When you make yourself out to be god, mere mortals can only worship, obey, and quake in fear.

Or not: be thankful for the atheists.

It wouldn't be very difficult, there's only a handful of places good enough for a big shot triple digit millionaire.

Maybe these keyboard cowboy posses (aka pussies) don't really want to find him.

Not to mention someone who tips so big. The dealers must all know him if he isn't full of bullshit

Well I live in NY so I'm off the hook. Not traveling to Vegas for that

Maybe I'll have my butler contact my pilot to ready my Learjet 75 Liberty for a quick jaunt to sin city: I understand there's a pest problem that needs handling.

On second thought I'll alert my chauffeur and take the Bentley: that way I can catch some good ZZZZZZ's along the way, at least when I'm not getting blown by starlets, eating caviar and snorting Peruvian flake.

    *pop*

Whoa, what a strange dream; almost as strange as that ongoing work of fiction some attention-whoring asshat continues to foist upon the forums.
