It's very disappointing to read you guy turning everything into politics with your out to get Trump or whomever conspiracy theories. Coronovirus is not a conspiracy theory. Nor is it the common "flu". Throughout history there have been these types of viruses and pandemics that have wiped out hundreds of thousands to millions of people. Currently the mortality rate for this coronavirus is just about 3% and that is about 10 times higher than the flu, which causes tens of thousands of deaths in the US every year. At that rate if this thing continues to spread, it could cause millions of deaths in the US.

I happen to think that 3% number is probably too high because only limited people have been tested due to test shortages. So only the really sick were tested and it looks like roughly 3% of them have died. There probably have been many, many more people here in the US and throughout the world that contracted the virus, had relatively minor symptoms, like the flu or a cold, and survived with relatively no treatment. And if that is the case, then that 3% number would be much lower, maybe much, much lower to a half percent or so, similar to the regular flu. That would be great. Best case scenario. But, presently no one knows for sure, least of all, you nitwits voicing your conspiracy theories.

For me personally, being a professional player living in Vegas, presents some risks. Las Vegas is a place that people travel to from all over the world, including areas that have been hit hard. Even before this coronavirus scare, casinos are a breeding ground for germs. Casino chips and currency are absolutely filthy and easily carry germs. I myself am not much of a gambler. I play to a very, very conservative Risk of Ruin, zero for all practical purposes. So I am surely not about to take a bigger risk with my health. I have chosen to shut down my casino play and that includes my daily meals at casinos, until we know more. Because that's the thing we don't know. None of you geniuses knows what will happen. Maybe it will all be over in a couple weeks, OR maybe it will be 1918 all over again, that killed millions of Americans. I am hoping that science has progressed to that we can't have a 1918 again, but nobody knows for sure. And one of the benefits of my profession is that I can set my own hours and work when I want, so I am just going to take some time off, and spend little to no time in casinos, or sporting events or concerts or large crowds and see what happens.

That's just me. You guys feel free to go on, gamble with your life, some of you are degenerate gamblers anyway, so no real surprise. And continue on with your conspiracy theories....everyone is out to get Trump and everything that happens is a conspiracy to get Trump.
