I always like to buy a 6 month supply of everything.
Not because I was prepping but because I was just lazy and didn't want to shop every other week.
So my wife was bitching that we had too much bleach.
So I wasn't keeping up with it and I am down to only two bottles.
I haven't been able to find bleach but I did see people bartering on craigslist with it.
Ebay as well if you want to overpay.

What I did was I bought a bunch of Vinegar.
It is a debate that it isn't as effective but better than nothing.
Also, I bought a bunch of cheap vodka which should kill anything

If you really need some help I could really work hard on it and see what I can do.
Thanks but I'll survive somehow. Mickey has the right idea Everclear not 80 proof or even 100 proof will work.
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

I am sure you will be fine and I think we will see bleach on the shelves soon.
If you want to get creative they have plenty of Homemade Bleach Alternative Recipes online.
Youtube and such... cost is really cheap if you can find everything needed.
I like the idea of Everclear though... just add that to the mix.
    Are you in Las Vegas?
I was taking a break today but I could get on a Bleach Mission.
Give me something fun to do.
See how much Bleach I can obtain in a few days

EDIT: I was just searching the Walmart Website and it says that 3 stores near me have bleach in stock.
Not sure how reliable that is or if they already ran out.
It is suggested to call each store to verify but I would suppose they are so busy right now that calling might be disruptive.

KJ, if you don't have your 2019 taxes done, better get them done as soon as possible. For those that have 2019 taxes done the IRS is going to use 2019 AGI to qualify for the $1,200 free money. They will use 2018 if 2019 is not available. I thought you mentioned you would qualify under 2019, but not 2018.

My 2019 taxes are already done, submitted and paid. And yes, it looks like I may luck out and be eligible for the $1200. Thanks for looking out for me Midwest P.

Also, I heard something about rules for unemployment eligibility being changed so that self employed people, not normally eligible for unemployment will qualify. Not quite sure about this, I will have to look into it.

At first I was feeling a little guilty because I feel like this emergency money should be going to low income working people. People living check to check who probably don't have much savings. But, I mean the limits that have put on, Single people making up to 100k, why shouldn't I be eligible. What I do for a living is not available to me because of this corona virus epidemic emergency. Not all that different from everyone else.

I'll bet Rob will have something stupid to say right here.

So remember how Rob corrected me several times in this thread, as new information became available, calling it misinformation, while he had the truth and facts?

Here's the truth: the qualifications WILL be based on tax returns from the 2018 calendar year.
WRONG! 2019 will be the first choice of data used (most recent). If a person has not yet filed 2019, only then will 2018 be used.

WRONG! People that didn't file taxes will still receive the payments. For people on social security, they will be using data from the social security administration, who obviously has the persons direct deposit info. For working people that just don't make enough to owe taxes, they will receive a paper check, which probably will take longer and is so 1900's.

As I said before... It would be a miracle to get payment in 30 days or less.
Here is what most realistically is going to happen.
(You can expect all kinds of problems and shenanigans IMO.)

When will the stimulus checks be sent out?

This is where it gets tricky.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has said that he’d like to see Americans start receiving direct assistance in as little as two or three weeks after the stimulus package is signed into law—but that seems exceedingly optimistic.
As Erica York of the Tax Foundation think tank notes, the quickest time frame in which the federal government has previously been able to issue stimulus checks has been six weeks.

“Historical precedent, plus the unprecedented crisis we’re in, leads me to believe May is the earliest the [Internal Revenue Service] would be able to start sending any checks,” York says.

How will I get my stimulus check?

For the roughly 70 million Americans who have already provided their direct-deposit bank account information to the IRS, rebates should be pouring into these accounts within weeks of the bill’s passage, Senate Democratic aides told the New York Times on Wednesday. But those who haven’t provided such information may have to wait up to four months for their checks to arrive—a time frame that surely works against the bill’s intention of providing financial assistance to struggling Americans as soon as possible.

I've got good news! Walgreens is going to give out one tome $300 bonuses at the end of April as a way of saying,"Thank you for continuing to work during the Covid-19 Epidemic!"

The above is only partially correct. Really the stimulus checks are going to be based on 2020 adjusted gross income. Since 2020 income is not available right now the IRS is going to use either 2018 or 2019 with 2019 being first choice.

So lets use KJ as an example. Lets say his 2019 AGI is $80,000. He will qualify for a reduced check of $950. However, since the casinos are closed now lets say he makes only $70,000 in 2020. Well, when he does his 2020 taxes he will get the additional $250. Now lets say KJ goes on a winning steak in 2020 and makes $100,000. He is now over the income limit. In 2 of the 3 articles it said he won't have to give any money back. The other article said he would.

Your piece of shit buddy Lindsey Graham, threatened to hold up the bill over unemployment benefits. He was afraid some poor folks might make more not working and stay on unemployment. What a piece of shit he is. Good old Bernie Sanders came to the rescue and said he would hold up the part for the rich corporations if they didn't step in line.

If you employ people who make less than the benefits why the fuck would they keep working for you? They have a point. This whole thing should have given a flat amount to every American and been done with it. Poor bastards who never file = lol. Seriously though, what happens when half your staff walks out because they make more not working? It is a legitimate issue for businesses who may otherwise be barely hanging in there. Not sure why human behavior is hard to believe. 90% of people who complain about socialism gladly look the other way when it benefits them. Real talk.

    1200 dollars is a joke.
Nice of the Government to give its people back their own tax dollars lol lol lol.
I guess you can get a gun, some ammo and some 3 minute noodles.
When or if you actually get this check.
They can keep mine... I'm spending my money on other commodities for the time being.

The $1200 is very nice considering the fact that we weren't expecting that $1200. This Covid-19 has LOTS of financial perks. My phone would lose internet access a lot of times before this Covid-19 blew up big time in the U S. My Phone Carrier has just given everybody free Unlimited Data as a way of saying,"Sure the Covid-19 sucks big time, here's free Unlimited Data to soothe the pain!" LMAO! And I have not lost internet access ever since the free Unlimited Data plan went into effect. My job is going to add $300 to full time and $150 to part time checks as a one time bonus as a way to say "Thank you for continuing to be here for our Customers during the Covid-19 outbreak!" Food places are waiving a LOT of delivery fees as a way to soothe the psin of the Covid-19. The financial perks of the Covid-19 are good.
