AT BJTF, the new poster claimed to live in Las Vegas, so Dan Druff or Norm who are both very good at that kind of thing should be able to tell if that is where he is posting from. Bosox is not in Las Vegas to the best of my knowledge.

My neighbor got thru to the Nevada Unemployment Dept and was told that hopefully late tonight -- late Saturday -- the website will be ready to process the new claims. The website will be offline this afternoon and evening to make the changes.
Good luck Mr Kewlj.
Andrew, can I ask why you are so concerned about this, if you yourself don't intend to file, as you have stated?
Kj, that’s one of the funniest comments you’ve made in a long time. Made me laugh for a while. Even Bosox’s good friend, Moses, has called him out for not being able to use the quote features correctly.
The thing is you can tell Bosox is smart and has a quick sense of humor so these quote features shouldn’t give him so much trouble, but they do. I think you might be onto something.
And it’s been a little boring for all of us with this “lockdown”, so it might make some of us want to venture off into Tasha’s world and create a bunch of sock puppets. Wouldn’t that be something if these two handles were really Bosox forum detective.
What a twist in the forum drama world? The detective becoming the criminal, so to speak.
KewlJ, and Bob 21 I am glad you both are having some fun here while things are a little slow now.
Things are not really slow here. Because everyone is home with nothing to do, this place is jumping. The conversations are retarded, but lots of activity.
Even Dan Druff, who now stays away for months at a time posted something last night. Kind of sad though, his post started out with "I don't know if I should even bother posting", which along with his absence would lead you to believe, that he doesn't even like what this forum has become.
Are you serious Kj? Have you seen what all the forums have become? They’ve just become debates and info on coronavirus. I mean BJTF has become 24 hour coverage on coronavirus, with Midwest Player starting about five new posts every hour on coronavirus. Anytime someone asks a blackjack question, it gets rerouted back to something about coronavirus. It’s pretty much the same with other sites.
I don't read BJTF very often anymore, mainly because there is a lot of mis-information that frustrates me. Things like information about Vegas, or Vegas casinos or Vegas blackjack, that I can't weigh in on or correct. So maybe once a week or even less I take a glance when I have nothing else to do. I read yesterday, because I was alerted to the new poster by someone asking if it was me.
As far as this forum, coronavirus dominating the news and discussion is only the tip of the iceberg of what is wrong with this forum. At the top of that list for me is that this has turned into a political forum. EVERY topic, every discussion, someone turn political with some sort of comment demonizing someone who doesn't share their views. Frankly I don't care about anyone's political views and would rather not even know what they are. This was supposed to be a forum about Vegas, casinos and casino play (hense the name), not a political forum. But we are way past that now. Everything is political.
The ONLY non-political discussions we now have on this forum is when some clown starts posting about his claims that just can't be according to the math. Then we revert back to the AP's and people who believe in the math, on one side and the anti-AP people who like to think anything is possible on the other.
Case in point: is it possible for someone to be hit by lightning 12 different times and still be walking around to talk about it? Yes, technically it is. But if someone shows up here claiming to have been hit by lightning 12 times, they are full of shit. And you can substitute, 18 y.o.'s in a row, or winning 40 sessions playing -EV games (MDawg), or hundreds of thousands of dollars in winnings over years playing -EV games (Singer). This stuff is fantasy stuff, unsupported by the mathematics. But then again, it is probably all the fault of the liberals from California.

Chum? what happened to "Mr. Kewlj"?
I apologize if the question seemed to upset you. Not my intent. I was sincerely just wondering if it was an issue that really isn't effecting you why you were digging into it? Frankly I am glad you did. You directed me to some articles and information, I might not otherwise have seen and allows my to at least guess at what might be going on.
Kj, fair point. I’ll try to refrain from my attack on liberals in the future, at least I’ll try to curb it. But it’s fun to jab them every once in while, because nothing they believe makes sense, and most of them don’t have a sense of humor.
But back to your point: When you look at most of the related sites, if it’s not political, it’s on-going jabs at each other. Personally, I don’t see any of these other site being better than this one.
Lately, I’ve been spending more time on sports betting sites. What I’ve noticed is these sites don’t get into attacking each other as much. And they seem to stay on topic more. I’ve been spending time on Cover’s and I’m a member at Action Network (btw, a great site), Sportsline, and VSiN, and a lot of free gambling sites. I even email the people writing the articles asking questions and I always get back thoughtful replies.
As I said, my focus (meaning in the gambling world) has been on sports betting lately, and I feel I’ve come a long way in the past year. Btw, I’ve also picked up some good tips from Redietz on sports betting on this site, and have agreed with pretty much everything he’s said in this area. Obviously, his politics and mine don’t agree.
On the sports betting forums, it seems like most people are trying to help each, and there’s good honest exchange of information. Very rarely do you see trolls, or people viciously attacking each other, like on other forums. I don’t know excately why. It might be because there is a lot more to sports betting than with casino games like blackjack, which are strictly a math game. Once you’ve mastered the math in bj, it’s really more a matter of how to get away with it.
I find the analytics around sports betting fascinating. There’s always someone trying to come up with a new angle, but of course no new angle (or value) will last long since the bookies will shift to address it.
Sports betting is constantly changing (unlike the math for bj), and there’s a lot of very smart people trying to exploit it, and they are willing to share their knowledge with you. I’ve come up with some of my own strategies that are an agglomeration of a lot of information I get from these various sites. So far most are working, but I know I’m still in the short run.
Kj, you’re a smart person, and appear to like sports. I think this is something you’d do well at, if you spent time on it. It’s using analytics and math, along with a lot of other psychological soft skills. I’m for sure no expert on it, but I have become much more knowledgeable on it after spending time studying it. Btw, there is also a great channel on Sirius radio called Vegas, where they discuss sports betting every day. That’s the main channel I listen to when I’m in my car.
Over this last year, I did make more money on sports betting than bj, but neither one was enough to write home to mom about. That’s right, mom is dead, so I don’t need to write home to her about it. What can I say, I’ve got a warped sense of humor. Lol

In FAR more important news, the Burning Man "Festival" has been cancelled.
Now there's at least ONE positive that's come out of this virus. All those weirdos, queers, potheads, and filthy slobs & hippies won't be piling into GSR on their way to and from BM to dirty up the restrooms when I'm there this year. Good riddance.
Of course only screwball liberals would come up with a festival cancellation in late August, now. They're afraid of their own shadows. Chinese Coronavirus will be nothing but a distant memory to working America by then. Only alarmists California flakes and libtards will keep it alive.

LMR, great video and song! Thanks for posting it! I like Johny Cash.
I’ve never seen this video or heard this song before, but I think this is a much better depiction of what Armageddon is going to be like, then what Ex-AP thinks. Ex-AP thinks Armageddon is 84 people dying out of one million. I’m pretty sure Armageddon is going to be worse than that.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Mickey, the name (Randy McKay) rings a bell, but I can’t place him right now. I’ve heard a lot of people interviewed on that channel, and some are better than others. When I really like what someone has to say, I’ll quickly try to write down their name on something as I’m driving, so I can follow them latter on their own web site or Twitter.
My problem is I don’t keep great records, so I don’t follow up on all the people I want to follow. It was interesting when I found this channel and first heard Brent Musburger’s voice. I thought, wow, so that’s where that guy went. He’s got a good segment called “My guys in the desert”, but there are other programs on this channel I like better.
I really like Michael Lombardi and Josh Appelbaum. I’ve learned a lot from them. If you’d have just followed Michael Lomardi’s NFL picks Sunday morning, you’d have done really well this season.
Do you do any sports betting?
