Thread: Will existing free play still be in effect after Casinos reopen?

  1. #1
I wonder if Casinos will resume existing free play after the Casinos reopen. For example, I get $20 in free play a week at Gulfstream and $17 at Hialeah, plus about $15 in "Play for free play,"So $37(or $52 with the "Earn your free play," thing) a week which really isn't too shabby. But on Thursdays at Gulfstream is more of a "You played hard, you get rewarded," but since I couldn't gamble at Gulfstream due to it being closed for about three weeks so far, I wonder if I still get the "You played hard reward." I DID however earn an impressive 127 points in just one day(This is the equivalent of playing $635 in coin in, a far cry from when I was playing literal pennies) days before I even knew they were going to be closed. I had about 200 points and cashed them in a few days later, in fact the last day they were open, so I only have like 2 points left at Gulfstream. If they go by the 127 point day I might still get my Thursday free play. Player's Club had said that using your points does not effect free play.

At Hialeah, I have about 400 points($2,000 coin in) so I have no doubt in my mind that my Hialeah free play SHOULD remain since I have so many points. But what I am concerned about is that Player's Club said that they give out free play based on activity on a 2 month timeline. So if Hialeah opens back up say June 19, three months after their March 19th shutdown, technically we haven't played in three months so that could erase everybody's free play due to nobody playing in three months. Hopefully Player's Club would make a huge exception and extend the 2 month thing to 3 or 4 months due to the unforeseen consequences of the Covid-19 Casino shutdowns.

Only thing I know is you will still be fucking retarted asking stupid questions over and over when this crisis subsidies.

    Some will and some won’t.

    Also boz is right.

Also you should have put this in your corner instead of a new thread, or if in a new thread the eastern casinos subforum, Mickey would disagree because it’s about free play.

I don't know Boz, it was actually a pretty good post/ question. I've heard some well-known successful Advantage players asking the same exact question multiple times from different ones(did she just repeat what other people were asking? I have no clue). The scary part is... she's actually using her points to keep track of her coin in and correlating that with free play. That's borderline actually learning some Advantage play right there.

Well I will agree with she is “borderline” at best. Probably “functional” is a better word.

But to the question, I believe most casinos, if not all will be offering incentives to return, extending offers and tier levels.

The bigger questions to me are how many people will be in the casinos at first and other things.

And now you will be on her good list for sticking up for her. Congratulations!

To be fair my free play questions pertain to ALL Casinos. I was just pointing out my Casinos' free play. But many people across America are wondering the same thing?I asked about free play after the Casinos reopen.

Is that anyway to talk to one of our retail heroes holding down the front lines of the US Covid response?

I didn't know I was on her bad list(?)

I'll put in a good word for you

Station Casinos sent an email today saying all tier levels will be extended to the end of the year instead of expiring at the end of June.

I doubt you will see any kind of lump sum offer to make up for free play that was missed during the shutdown.

I hope there are generous "welcome back" offers but I have no idea.

My guess is that room rates will be dirt cheap and maybe they'll drop parking charges and resort fees. I'm wondering if some shows might lower ticket prices?

Free play is really not the big motivator for the general public because the general public gets so little free play. Free rooms is what the general public wants. Or really cheap rooms like $39 on the Strip.

It is still in effect at Coin Gambler, so if you'd like to play some time, feel free

Hmm. Onenickelmiracle on WOV also pointed out the possibility of Gamblers losing free play they would have been collecting if the Casinos hadn't closed unexpectedly because of the Covid-19 thing especially if the Casinos are closed for over two months and how offended Gamblers would be if they lose their free play due to Casinos being closed for over two months. I also mentioned Hialeah giving free play based on a two month period of play. It's very possible that the Casinos could be closed for three months. Technically, nobody played in three months if they are closed until say June 19th so in theory, everybody loses their free play due to nobody playing in three months. You'd have a lot of pissed off Gamblers if everyone loses that free play due to the Casino Closures like me and ONM pointed out. God help The Player's Club Employees so much if all free play gets rescinded due to the Casino Closures

Again retard, you will not lose your free play. You will get new FP for the dates they are open. Just like you do now for a certain period of time if you do not visit and vary your play level. You will have lost nothing. Casinos have strong marketing departments that give FP based on your play. Not sure why you don’t understand this. Not defending casinos, but there is no benefit to them to not try to get customers back by offering them what previously earned based on play.

Not sure how to explain this to you. New offers will arrive based on PREVIOUS play, it’s how casinos work.

But in your case I could see riots at the Ghetto places you visit because you are not alone in that ‘hood in understanding logic. Hell they start fights at Fast Food restaurants over a Straw.
