So now you are saying you made $1,036,000 over a 27 year period. That's less than $40,000 a year. Your wife's income came in real handy didn't it, Rob?
That's the gambling income mickey. I can see how the millions made from ACTUALLY WORKING wouldn't count to a slug on food stamps and Medicaid.

I can see you're feeling the emptiness of being a low-life loser and loner. Not really the best path you took, was it? I mean, no one and nothing to look back on; no one and nothing to look forward to; your only "friends" being via the internet or those sitting at the bars up in nowhere land.

And, of course, no bank account. So right about now, isn't it time to make up another of those foolish stories "from yesteryear" about being a bum in Nevada as you slowly go broke gambling in your precursor to running away to Montana....hitchhiking and hoboing on trains because you could never even afford a car?

    Sad life mickey......
Sad life for YOU, Rob. Making up lies to cover up your old lies. Making hundreds of thousands of posts in the internet gambling forums that do nothing but show what fool you are. You are not and have never been a professional gambler. Your only so called trick in gambling is martingaling video poker. A one trick pony at best. You quickly jump on anyone who has any insight into strategic gambling derailing the thread spewing venom at them. You are a sad little man. Intelligent conversation on gambling is not allowed with Singer on the watch. Ignorance is your mantra and stupidty is your calling card. Sad little man living off your wife's income.

No, this is the first I've heard of it and I'm wondering why. This story should have made the gambling forums when it was new. I've found another little news item on it so far and am looking for more. Here's the link:

    http://www.archive.courthousenews.co...1/15/53919.htm

This case is almost five years old. The Noah Acres implicated in this article has an active twitter account.

Edit: Trying to fix the link.

Edit: I can't fix the link. Google "money blast slot game rigged" scroll down to post number 6 to find the link.
More information can be found googling "riviera slot game rigged." There were actually 3 lawsuits filed. But nothing can be found of the outcome.

Noah Acres, Senior Vice President, is the one Douglas Poppa implicated as the one who gaffed the game. But I find it hard to believe Acres had the ability to do the gaffing. The lawsuit was filed in January 2012 and Acres resigned in June 2012. The Riviera was really struggling financially at the time. The game, Money Blast, was a progressive line game. It probably had a big top line jackpot.

Acres was the one responsible for a lot of failed promotions at the Riviera. Here's a quote from one article:

"The most generous offer was a $1,000 loss rebate on slot and video poker play. It was first offered in April 2012. This offer was hit hard by advantage players. Within two days it was altered to exclude multi play video poker games, video table games and high limit machines."

waa....waa.... I see you continue to be obsessed with me...in-your-head so to speak. You post anytime I bait you with digs towards others, and it's VERY entertaining watching you react like a Hillary supporter whenever any conservative laughs at her for losing.

In that vein, let's get your blood pressure up even higher. My wife and I each get about $50k in monthly SS and pension benefits, plus we withdraw $5k-$10k/mo. from retirement savings. Without doubt, that more than anonymous you and slug mickey have ever made in any one year COMBINED. Oh, the little people.....And tonight we're leaving for Tahoe and then onto S. Dakota for the summer. I'll let you stew over that until we get back.

Alan, the fifth card flipper anomaly is only one of a number of methods used to re-program the machines in the casinos' favor, and as I reported back when I discovered it, only a few machines are gaffed at a time. You ought to be looking into that instead of looking for another wife.

    Dear Forum Guests,

Here's today's trivia challenge. Name an instance where the Nevada Gaming Commission discovered an instance of a malfunctioning or gaffed machine or a rigged drawing or a rigged table game that the NGC exposed without a third party first reporting it to them or to the press.

    (Jeopardy clock sound)....

Poor little robbie is whining again. Lived off your wife for years but now living off of government handouts. How much do you draw a month in food stamps, Top Ramen Robbie?

"Money Blast" is probably best known as a mining-themed video slot by Konami, but it sounds like Riviera used the title for a specialized slot machine intended for promotional giveaways. Here's a mention of 58th anniversary promotions:

    http://www.vegas24seven.com/riviera-...-during-april/

Particular outcomes at table games earned free spins on the Money Blast machine. Prizes included "an iPhone 5, cash and tickets to the Riviera Comedy Club."

Gee Rob I had no idea you collect $60,000 a month in pension and retirement income. (What you posted above.) That's $720,000 a year in retirement income.

I never earned that much while working in a year.

The point is pretty obvious, mickey. But I'll wait until somebody comes up with an instance where the NGC publicly discovered something on their own before suggesting one. I mean, how long has the NGC been in business?

If thats the case then there was no money bet on this machine and consequently may not be regulated by NGC.

I know your point but I think it could also be construed as NGC doing a damn good job of keeping gaffed machines out of Nevada.

  16. #76
That would, if true, put it in the category of a rigged drawing. So the NGC shouldn't keep tabs on rigged drawings?

I understand that to mean about $50K each per year collected in monthly installments (not $50K per month)...which is totally believable.

Some government pensions are much higher than that...what's the big deal?

Don't get into an argument with Alan about the precise meaning of Robs written words. We'll be on this thread forever. 50G a year crowd vs. the 50G a month faction. It's not a math problem damnit it's a reading comprehension problem!
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.
