Can you show some statistics on “kids” dying from this? Last I saw was 4 people under 25 though it may have went up by now.

Casinos, being as germ-laden as they are along with customers who consider bad health habits a way of life, are not gonna be anything close to the same. Imagine somebody letting out a sneeze at a BJ table? Are you gonna think highly of the bartender who handles cash freely and grabs everyone's used drink glasses and bottles from the bar JUST BEFORE he puts your limes and straws into your drink order with his germy hands (or gloves)? And what's up with your waiter in that nice casino restaurant---how DARE he touch my plate with his corona hands!!

Then there's the cash--society's filthiest entity.....next to the HOTEL ROOMS!

It's over folks, at least as we know it. At times like these, I'm more than glad to be able to look back and know I had my years of feeling like a King whenever I ventured inside any of the Nevada casinos. Fond memories indeed.

I agree. I don't get the Dems. They want a socialized system where they put in place "death panels"...government bureaucrats who decide who dies and who gets medical treatment. Btw, this is what both Hillary and Obama were for.

And here we've got the perfect virus, coronavirus. One that mostly takes out the very old, and people with comprised systems, and the Dems want to lock down our country so no one dies. I'd rather be taken out by this virus, then some Dem "death panel" once they get their socialized health care going. I think my chances are better surviving the coronavirus.

The flu kills kids too. I actually know a young girl, age around 14, who died from the flu 3 years ago. She went to my sister's church. It was very sad.

I was just reading the leading cause of death for kids is car wreaks. About 700 kids under the age of 12 die per year due to car crashes.

The lock down is probably saving more kid lives due to fewer car wrecks, than what we're saving due to coronavirus.

Maybe we should just lock down our country forever, so we could save more kid lives, since that appears to be our goal.

Your home isn't air conditioned? Malls and stores aren't? Are temperatures as hot in San Diego, Santa Monica and Seattle as they are in Vegas?

In Ventura CA, near Santa Barbara homes don't even have AC because temperatures never get above 74.

How many deaths are acceptable to you?

I'll give you my number, if you give us your number. Because even the biggest left-wing liberal should have some number they see as acceptable for society to operate normally. For example, most people accept about 35,000 people dying each year from car wreaks. We know 100% of these deaths are preventable, if we'd just make people stop driving cars. But these deaths have been consider "acceptable" by our society so we can operate to what we consider as normal.

And most people also accept about 35,000 people dying from the flu each year (in bad years it's over 65,000), since most of these deaths could be prevented if we practiced social isolation non-stop, as we're doing now.

Okay, what is my number? My number is 1.2 million. How did I come up with that number? This is the number that dies every year due to cancer and heart disease, so it appears people are okay with this number of deaths each year. And coronavirus, for the most part, has the biggest impact on this group, which are the elderly and people who have bad tickers or other underlining health problems. Saying it another way, coronavirus is killing the people that will probably die soon anyway.

I gave you my number. So what is your number? There has got to be some acceptable number of deaths you're comfortable with to allow society to operate normally, or you aren't being reasonable.
