Sisolak: no phase 1 yet

Nevada Governor Sisolak says the state is not near a Phase 1 reopening yet and he doesn't know when it's coming. He is keeping schools closed through the end of this school year and says casinos will not be included in a Phase 1 reopening. He also said he doesn't even know how restaurants could reopen in Phase 1. He also said the Nevada Gaming Commission will decide on the rules for reopening casinos and he said the Wynn plan was appreciated but the NGC will decide and not the casinos. Sisolak is not up for reelection for three more years.

Mr Mickeycrimm, did you notice how Newsom in California is as strict as Sisolak about not reopening? I've seen several analyses that this is the strategy of Democrat governors to prevent Republican campaigning in the Democratic states.

Tell Mr Singer that the point of shutting down schools at least until August was to provide cover for the rest of the shutdown including casinos and political rallies and campaigns in Nevada.

Note Mr Singer that California has seven hotly contested Republican seats in Congress that Democrats want. In Nevada there are only FOUR Congressional seats in total. Locking up the state gives the Democrats in Nevada more power.

I do want to apologize for all the negative things I said about Alan over the years. Until I read the full story from Singer, I never knew how bad an addiction Alan had. While anyone with common sense could see there was an issue, I didn’t know it ruined his life.

I can be hard on people but it’s a lot of bluster and back & forth on here. It’s real life when someone is this addicted. And it’s not funny.

Like many others, there's nothing to do but to watch TV and monitor the news and social media. I can't go to my office. There are no court sessions. I can't sit in on client depositions. I can't file pleadings except if the court allows online work. I can't even visit clients with attorneys to record the interviews about their accident cases.

I'm sorry but I didn't know about your history with the casinos and how you are the resident expert here.
