2. Belgium has the most reliable data for Wuhan Virus deaths because they also count deaths from nursing homes. If the US included deaths from nursing homes, the current death rates will far exceed the 40K+ number right now.

3. People aren’t talking about the Taiwan model with people working, eating in restaurants, shopping in retail stores, kids going to school, etc. Instead, the want to talk about the failed Sweden experiment. Death rates per million is almost 200 in Sweden vs Taiwan’s 0.3 when both countries allow their citizens to maintain “normal” lives.

4. As USA is approaching summer, the South Hemisphere is approaching winter and boy are those countries in for a surprise. In six months when USA gets ready for winter, we will be getting the virus again from Southern Hemisphere. The head of CDC is warning about a tough situation for USA come this winter.

5. Slaughterhouses in USA are closing so expect meat to be hard to find in next few weeks. With closed borders and lock down, the farming and planting season is being compromised. Don’t expect a bumper crop this fall. Like you did not see this coming.

6. Immunity to Wuhan Virus depends on the amount of antigens a body will produce. Here is the sad fact, we have enough evidence that tells us people are GETTING REINFECTED because their bodies are not producing enough antigens. So much for immunity theory & herd mentality.

Mickey, you make an excellent point about some of our major universities been started by Christians. The same is true with our scientific fields. Without Christianity, we would still be living in the dark ages!

And I’d argue Christianity goes way beyond “beats the alternatives.” It’s because Christianity was founded on reality and historical facts. It’s more than a belief system. This is why so many people (meaning atheist and their like) spend so much time trying to disprove the Bible.

Even Paul understood that our faith is more than a belief system, when he said, if Christ did not die and was raised from the dead, your faith is worthless. I’m paraphrasing here a little. Again, Christianity is based on the historical fact there is a Creator who came down to earth as Jesus, who died and was raised from the dead. If this didn’t happen, our faith is meaningless and Christianity is no different than some mystic voodoo religion.

Besides Judaism, Muslims and Christianity, all the other relgions are not based on reality. They are based on some mystic belief system...some call it “new age” thinking. This is where eastern religions like Hindu, Buddha, etc, come from. You could probably call them more philosophies then religion.

That’s why it made no sense when redietz made the comment about intelligent people “de-committing” from religion (I’m assuming he means Christianity) in light of “overwhelming evidence”. I have no idea what he means by this, since the “overwhelming evidence” has shown the historical accuracy of the Bible, from the creation account, to Christ time on earth and his resurrection.

Why do all dating systems go back to Christ’s time on earth? Because when God in person came to earth and defeated death, it had a pretty big impact on the world! To where over 2000 years later, the whole world (regardless of someone’s beliefs) still knowledges his existence and importance with our calendars!

Well, I can see why. When two threads are entitled "The Coronavirus Scam," people visiting the forum for the first time are not going to be taking any gambling info seriously. Kind of undercuts any semblance of credibility for other topics.

Imagine somebody reading comments about the Martingale scammer from posters who think "coronavirus is a scam." What the hell are they supposed to think? The same folks that brought you "coronavirus is a scam" are bringing you "Martingale dude is a scam."

As for your thoughts above, as much as you hate it, 50% of the country believes this has been way overblown, if not a scam or hoax. And it would bring just as many people to the site as it would turn off.
