McConnell doesn't want to bail out the blue states. The blue states put more money in the federal pot than any red state.

One thing's he not is slim....
MWP, that’s a good article and shows once again who’s for the middle class taxpayers and who’s for the bloated liberal state governments.
This sentence in the article said it best: “State bankruptcy is a project to shift hardships onto pensioners while protecting bondholders - and, even more than bondholders, taxpayers.” So the Republicans are looking out for the taxpayers by letting states declare bankruptcy. That’s good to hear.
Look, the federal government doesn’t have any money anyway. Have you seen our federal debt? And they don’t want to pull a liberal Democrat move and raise taxes on businesses, since they are already struggling.
Maybe, this is a wake up call to all those big liberal state governments. They need to back off and let some of their government workers go and put them back into the private sector where they can contribute, instead of being a boat anchor to our economy.
Once again, the Republican Party gets high marks for looking out for the little guy, the taxpayers. And the Democrats get exposed for only looking out for Government bureaucrats, which is almost the same thing as freeloaders.
Btw, MWP are you one of those government bureaucrats that sits around and doesn’t do anything except impose regulations on businesses to stifle our economy?
