I have no information sitting here on Rob that I can or would post. I paid the $3 (maybe it was even $4.99) several years ago to take a look. I didn't even print anything out or save (download) anything. Why would I? As it is, paying to see the info, that I and others did, including others before my time, was a lit creepy. I now regret doing even that. But Rob has a way of really antagonizing you to do shit like that just to shut him up.

Agreed for the most part. It’s a fair place for most of us.

Maybe I did see it and just didn't respond as it didn't seem to be anything I would even know about. I moved to Las Vegas in 2009, so I never played Revel. During my time in AC, Revel was either under construction, or sitting idle with construction halted. That was the status when I left. I have only been back to AC one time after I moved, and I did go inside Revel just because I wanted to see how that property that was sitting there half built when I left, ended up. I don't believe I ever played blackjack. Maybe I played a couple hands that day....if so, it wasn't memorable.

So I just had no information as to Revel as per your PM. I don't know why I didn't answer. Maybe I didn't see it. Maybe I was running late and meant to get back to it. I just have no recollection. That isn't an excuse for not answering. I actually get a lot of PM's (not really on this forum) and emails from people and almost always try to answer, even if it is something I don't know or can't for other reason answer, so again, I don't know why I didn't and apologize. So you can hopefully let THAT go now, Boz.

Absolutely I don’t hold that against you, I used it as a point about you helping people. I was looking for any experience you had in a closing casino, not Revel in particular. And back in those days to someone newer to forums you came off as someone with experience looking to help others. And lucky for me others have helped me in so many ways, including closing casinos, which are rare. As you learned I think, most are not worth anything , like the place on Sahara, but that is how we learn. Sadly sometimes it costs most of us money.

I still think my question presented an opportunity but who knows.

I don't know. The only casino to close during my time in AC was Sands. I don't even remember considering that there might be opportunities.

Here in Vegas, I guess Sahara and that Lucky dragon just down the street from Sahara have closed while I was here. What else? What am I forgetting? Oh yeah....They ALL closed on March 18, 2020.

Off the top of my head, I would say the idea of dealers and pit folks especially not caring too much during final days has some credence to it. At most places there is some paperwork involved with a backoff. the actions have to be documented. To the answer you are looking for, YES for the vast majority of what they post. That said, I don’t fall in line 100% of the time and they will say the same. Not sure why you think we are one and the same in lockstep.

No way would I ever want to be lumped with anyone all the time. I personally agree with much of Max’s views on our world but we disagree on some things. This is one of them as I never paid for, or found the information as discussed.

Certainly his option to post it if he has it, or his choice to not post it.
