This is kind of a stupid comment accountinquestion. You aren’t smoking weed while you’re posting again, are you?

How do you think nurses and doctors treat patients and don’t spread viruses to new patients? I’ll give you a clue. They wear very good protective equipment. That’s better than a clue...I told you how it’s done.

When Sweden and other places say they didn’t “lockdown” their nursing homes, this doesn’t relate to the healthcare workers. This means they let outside visitors and family into the nursing home, which helped spread the virus throughout the nursing homes. “Locking down” a nursing home means visiters and family aren’t allowed in. Healthcare workers obviously are allowed in; they just have to wear their PPE.

You’ve got to have known that. You can’t be that stupid, but sometime I wonder about you. I know potheads sometimes aren’t able to reason well.

The proof of this statement is pretty easy to verify

Have there been any large numbers of doctors nurses etc who have contracted the virus.

    Google it.

I didn't like what I found. Being a healthcare worker is pretty dangerous these days

If you want to infect the nursing homes then do what Cuomo did, put the covid patients in the nursing homes.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Darkoz, I get your point. But when countries say their nursing homes weren’t “locked down” what they mean is family and visitors were still coming to the nursing homes, and at that time nobody was wearing any PPE.

It’s pretty easy to see why under these conditions old folks in nursing homes were falling like flies.

Today, the conditions are much different. No visitors are allowed in nursing homes and the healthcare workers wear PPE. As our country “opens up” that will continue, so keeping our country in lockdown mode or opening it up will have no impact on people in nursing homes.

Btw, you seem like a fairly reasonable mild manner liberal. You don’t meet many of those these days. Most are raging lunatics like Kj, or potheads like accountinquestion.

Do you smoke any weed like your fellow liberal, accountinquestion? I think right now he’s our No. 1 pothead on this site.

I am a terribly addictive personality and have known that since I was small. I could never get enough of toys and sweets and playing pinball. I am even still addicted to chef boyardee eating several cans a month. Can't get enough. A fifty one year old who hasn't been able to break a chef boyardee addiction since childhood. That's me!

Interestingly, as a result, I am not addicted to most of the sins.

    No weed ever

    No cigarettes ever

    No illicit drugs ever

    No alcohol ever

And seriously concerned the few times I took heavy prescribed painkillers (I have passed a few kidney stones).

I was always too fearful of becoming easily addicted so never got addicted.

    Perhaps sex which came naturally

As for gambling even that I feared. First time I went to a casino was at 27 years old. Had no interest or intention to gamble. Took a bus to Foxwoods to go on a bunch of virtual reality rides (I don't think they are even there anymore and yes I happen to be addicted to amusement parks as well) Not knowing how it worked they handed me $10 table coupon. I said what the hell, might as well throw it on something. Went to the big six wheel (usual stop for newbie ploppies) and won ten bucks. So bet again. Went up and down a bit but ended up winning about $80. Had to catch my return bus.

Came back the next week. Of course, not for those virtual reality rides.

Like I said, I am easily addictive.

I have never smoked in my life either but playing in a Casino that had some of my favorite games coincidentally in The Smokers Section, smelling cigarette smoke started to tempt me to smoke myself, but I never did it. Then cake the current Shutdowns of Casinos, so no more constant smell of cigarrette smoke to start to tempt me. About Alcohol, I drink it seldomly. I drink it when I want to have a little "Kick," so to speak.

That's like saying Everytime you smell the stench of shit in the public restroom you feel like eating shit.

No way smelling other people cigarette exhaust makes you want to join in.

Your friends may ask you to join in but smelling strangers stench isn't making anyone normal want to smoke

Lol. Good analogy Darkoz. When I read Cookie Monster’s statements about smoking, they didn’t make any sense to me either. Cookie monster beats to a different drummer than most people though. Her comment about getting a little “kick” from drinking alcohol did make sense.

I had forgotten I had written this reply, LOL. But honestly smelling smoke did temporarily tempt me to smoke myself, but I then thought of the health risks associated with smoking and the expenses of it and decided not to do it .

I wrote it very early this morning and then forgot about it soon after. LOL. I started a thread when I was sleep deprived about how a shopping cart is like a car. You can turn it, push it forward and back, it holds lots of groceries, you can park it, if wheels run over your foot, you are going to get a lot of pain. I soon fell asleep after that thread I started when I was sleep deprived. When I woke up, I had forgotten I had started that Shopping Carts are like cars thread until I saw that thread. LOL

I'm confused why you're admitting to your sock. Didn't Dan say you'd be perma banned over any more socks? You need to take lessons from Grampa Newell on how to deny.

Here’s the way I see it. Tasha is kind of like Michael Jordon, meaning she’s special. Have you ever heard of “The Jordon Rules”? This means he gets special rules that didn’t apply to his teammates. He could get away with things, his teammates couldn’t.

That’s how I’ve always seen Tasha. Since Tasha is special, she gets the “Tasha Rules”, which don’t apply to everyone else.

Also, I like her new handle, and she finally found a great Avatar. I think she’ll be sticking with Cookie Monster for a while.

I mean she’s really never tried to deceive anybody, and this forum is a better place when she’s posting. It’s good to see Cookie Monster posting more, rather than just lurking.

Yeah she never tried to deceive anyone. Except for every single time she makes a sock!!! Almost always promising it’s not her, starting new threads arguing between her own socks like the time Tasha started “Kentry, if you’re going to talk shit”

I would call that a classic case of mis-matched socks

Yeah, you’re probably right, but it wouldn’t be the first time someone on this forum violated a rule and didn’t get punished.

If Dan banned someone everytime there was a rule violation, I doubt if there would be anybody left on this forum.

And I think Tasha might be a little more locked into this handle since it has a good avatar, and fits her personality. I mean what kind of avatar is there for Tasha?

Overall, I think this was a good move by Tasha, and yeah, it bent and maybe broke the rules. But I’d let it slide this time if I was in Dan’s shoes.

DarkOz, not sure if you researched it but there is NO possible stock fraud with Moderna. The stock was automatically sold based on a program with stock options.

Even CNN admits there was nothing wrong with the trades. Many stock options never become valued enough to be exercised. In this case a huge jump in the price triggered it.

Nothing to see here. Hopefully you address this at WoV.
