What do you expect him to say? This is between you and The Boz Dude. I think it's exciting. Of course I'm a troublemaker. Put up or shut up time. Singer Challenge III or maybe IV. Let's roll.

I'm kind of thinking Boz put this out there on his own since neither of the Dynamic Duo consisting of Grandpa Newell and Stageboy Crimm has endorsed this challenge.
Usually when a person is fishing for a $20k fish they watch the pole. It's now past the deadline and it looks like the fish on the hook stole the pole.
I guess Boz couldn't get enough confidence from the Troll of Trolls Grandpa Newell himself, or thru his man servant messenger Mickey to follow thru.
I don't have a deadline for my offer of acceptance on the 8-1.

Yeah well as a layman in these kinds of big proposition bets, I'd just have to say that it looks like The Boz Dude chickened out. My 8 bucks is still on the line too.

Assuming you don't believe Rob owns a Newell motorhome, you must ask yourself where he got the idea and balls to claim he does. Assuming he doesn't own Newell motorhome there's a good chance he knows someone(perhaps a friend) or someone in his extended family actually does, and that's what gave him the idea and balls to take ownership of that claim. Rob M May have even been invited to go on vacations with a friend or family member who owns a Newell motorhome. For all we know there's some stupid kind of timeshare program.

Doesn't Rob's daughter live fairly close to a dealership? It might stand to reason that he actually has a family member or a friend that works for that dealership. With that being said, Rob knows at some point you might be able to get some pictures and or roll up somewhere in a fancy Newell motorhome. Of course, you could only do that on the actual owners schedule.

Anything could happen and as I've been saying, the more money that's involved and in escrow, the more that could happen.

Maxpen has the right idea to have concrete terms including proof of ownership and dates. Anyone can roll up in a Newell for the right price. But the price for correct title papers and with the correct dates goes up with each specific demand.

As I mentioned before, with $100,000 in escrow I think anything involving a Newell with a current value of $600,000 could be arranged... including back dated titles.

But for $20,000 you might just get a rental to show off.

    Be careful.

Yeah, agree with Axel on this. I said exactly this in one of the other threads. He wouldn't obsess about a Newell out of the blue. Somebody he knows or works with probably had or has one. Like any fantasy -- you rarely make it up from scratch. It's the girl (or Newell) next door.

A Newell is an RV'ers dream machine. Rob migrated into the RV world after leaving his last apartment in 2011. It's some retirees salvation from a poorly executed life financial plan. For others it's an alternative lifestyle. He's had to settle for the Winnebago camper unfortunately. But every now and then one of those elusive Newells shares the campground with him. That's when he sneaks up on the back of it and takes a quick pic. He doesn't want for a minute the owners glancing out the window and seeing him creep around. Might get a bad rep in the campground.

I had a minute to look at this latest thread's last few posts. I see my Newell ownership--ONLY BECAUSE I WON THE MONEY FROM THE DOUBLE UP PLAY and which I would have never wasted our retirement savings on--has scrambled the brains of the envious haters....including the self-admitting woman-beater "Andrew".

Here's the thing you pack of idiots. I don't have the time to plod thru all the nonsense that's obviously been posted here while our son drove us up to Minn. in our P2000i, and while Cindy and I drove our new Hyundai that was towed behind the Newell back to Phx. in order to get our p/u and small camper so we could drive it up to N. Nv. for the summer while we let our son and his family take the big rig after a quick stopover up here.

You clowns saw the picture of both our RV's which I'm sure tested your patience. Max is probably STILL scouring the internet for similar pics. I mean, I'm supposed to be broke, bankrupt, homeless and all that BS, right? So WTF am I doing with new vehicles, several RV's, a couple homes in Phx., and the ability to be staying, dining out constantly, enjoying, and travelling around a place like Tahoe for the entire summer?

It's all got to be so mind-boggling for the envious haters, when if they took the time to think rationally about everything instead of trying to measure up to how we live, they'd easily understand that the Mrs. and I see no different whatsoever from millions of other retired successful long-married middle class couples who made more good decisions than bad along life's path. Oh I see....the Newell remains in your nightmares. We'll just suck it up--just admire the pics I posted from the inside and out. And if you REALLY want to get worked up, read up on how these things are built. That'll keep you up all night. What keeps me up is how much it takes to keep it on the road. That's why I'm finally selling it.

Let me know if I can help anybody feel any worse. None of the cowards had the balls to meet me in Boulder. I guess it's more enjoyable sitting at home wasting away in front of your computer screens.

Casinos around here should be opening June 4th. I'll be actively scouting for the bug. What bug? Oh that's right---most of you are computer warriors.

    Wise up.

Max it's just like you. Too timid to feel as if you compare, so you constantly make things up due to your feeling of inadequacy.

A liberal thru and thru. That's why, as a coward, you choose to believe whatever makes us look less. And you know your story about us having a "Winnebago" in 2011? I thought you figured yourself as a good investigator. We had a Monaco back then. This Winnebago is a 2019.

    Does it hurt yet??

Sorry for the delay guys, I do have a life and had multiple friends over today. It’s why I put Tuesday as the deadline for funds up as today is a holiday.

While my bet offer was with KJ, I’ll also do it with Max because I know he is a upright guy and there is no BS involved. I’ll send my money to Mike on Tuesday. No BS or scam on my end, I just want to see this thing come to completion. Not the DU but the debate over Rob owning a Newell RV.

All I need is the exact details Max accepts as the terms of the bet. While Mike is the ultimate determining factor on who wins, I want it to be clear on details so there is no debate. I also suggest Axel, who we both know and respect helps on the terms before the wager is set. If it takes another day to get the terms right, so be it, but I put mine out last night.

I won’t be on here much more tonight, but let’s get the terms settled and get the money to Mike.

But the added stip on travel expenses is unneeded as I will pay my own way in any case once we agree on the details.

Thanks Max for being willing to step up and settle this thing once and for all. Unlike KJ.

My terms were clear that he did as of the 20th. I used that date to show there was no scam on my end, but apparently some think we are working together. This can be open for negotiations but I put it out there to show someone wouldn’t buy one to win what I consider a small amount in 20K.

For $20k? Jesus coach, I thought you would give me more credit than that. With partners? I’m the guy who wanted to bet $100K on Robs cock size.

This is to clear this up once and for all. Nothing more on my end. Those who know me on both sides of the debate know that.

But thanks for coming back and contributing. Honestly.

Ok...this is what I agreed to, which is pretty much what you offered KJ. I only defined the Newell as the one Rob already posted pics in. This will prevent someone from renting one and pulling shenanigans.

"I will put up the $20k to win $2500 that the Newell Rob posed in is not his, his kid's, or kid's spouse. The only thing I want is an agreeable settlement date and an outline of how you are going to prove that it is his or his immediate family members."

I can get to anywhere in the US with 48 hours notice. So get with Rob and let's just get this done. Verbally lock it in and I'll get the $20k to Mike.

I'm sorry I thought you chickened out. I was wrong. I'm glad I was wrong. Can I bet my 8 dollars?

We have an exterior pic and interior pics of the RV. I don't even need to see a title. Just as long as those 2 items match would be proof enough for me to lose. Cause I don't want to hear no bullshit about how we don't travel with a title.
Everyone has a registration. It can be in Rob's or anyone of the relatives listed names.
