    Just an observation!
While I don’t agree with your comments on the lower end workers, you are partially right about the business comment. The bigger fraud was PPP which was used to pay payroll to businesses that stayed open. The vast majority of which would have never closed down during this because their services were in demand. They received 8 weeks of Free Payroll to pay employees that they would have otherwise paid.

A good example I know is Dominos pizza. They set sales records week after week because they were already a Take Out and Delivery business. There was more demand than ever for their crummy pizza and they hired more drivers. And 100% of their payroll was covered by the government (which of course is us taxpayers). They had no need for PPP but were rewarded by it.

Other small businesses and restaurants got it as well. And magically increased payroll by adding family and friends to No Show jobs and are splitting their gains.

It’s a textbook example of government waste and not thinking things out before reacting. It also shows that many Americans will find ways to never miss an opportunity to take advantage of a situation. And have no morals when doing it.

When the books are written, this event will go down as one of the costliest government failures of all time, if not the most. Regardless of what side you are on, generations will be paying for this forever.
Nobody is going to have to pay anything back now or later because the money given out was printed not borrowed. We might suffer from inflation however due to increase in money supply. People have plenty of money to spend when the ruling class allows the serfs to remove their masks so we shall see how supply and demand plays out.
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

Speaking of masks I went to Lowes yesterday and said screw it I'm taking a stand. No mask. I then went across the parking lot to my regular grocery store. No mask, it felt great!

Not as many wearing them here in Vegas as other parts of the country.
A few places now require them so I just put it on.
I did go into Home Depot and Albertsons the other day with no mask as they didn't force me.
I could never wear one of those masks for more than 45 minutes or so.
I agree with you though that its better not to wear one.

Same. I didn't even apply for the stimulus thing. If they find me and force it on me, I'll just donate it to some food-related charity or another.

You go to court to fight the Casinos over some trivial bullshit.
You will wait and observe players so you can vulture a few bucks.
However, you aren't taking any stimulus payments!?
I guess you got to draw the line somewhere.

I am sure AW and his wife do not qualify for everything.
Seems ironic to fly 3000 miles to take advantage of a promotion but won't take 600 dollars from their own taxes.

Most AP's deal with sudden loss of income on a regular basis as plays are ruined by casinos etc.

Most AP's have a decent bankroll to weather them through.

I still have enough bankroll to last me awhile and I even diverted some of the cash for gambling into the stock market

For me, it's a sense of fairness. The casinos offer games, then get mad when I figure out how to win (even though they have no problem stacking it in their favor themselves)

Taking an unemployment check when I don't need it isn't the same thing

It takes an expert level troll to find fault with someone trying NOT to take Government money. I applaud your ingenuity.

I have never sued a casino. The only time I went to court related to casinos was when I was trying to get a fine for defiant trespass dropped.

Of course I will wait to try to vulture, mainly because I think it's fun and I find it interesting to watch human behavior. I like seeing if I can correctly predict if they are going to leave or put more money in.

But, no, the nation is already in tremendous debt and continues to run a deficit. Don't get me wrong, if I absolutely needed the money to survive I'd have been the first one to sign up. Being able to eat is more of a fundamental principle of mine than not contributing to the federal deficit, after all.

I think people just have trouble seeing the difference in like actions.

Example, Muhammad Ali beats people to a pulp in the ring so he should have no problem killing people as a soldier in Vietnam

In this case, AP's show no problem taking money from big corporate casinos so how is it they don't want money from the big government.

Or if an AP has no problem vulturing a player then they must have no problem cashing out left behind funds in a slot machine. AP's see the difference but other people dont.

I see this kind of myopic blurred disconnect all the time

Nah, Monet's smarter than that; he just likes to fuck around. He'd also strip and rob a corpse if someone told him there was a hidden penny somewhere. Which is fair enough, it's not like the corpse needs it.

I would only modify to say that APs do not, 'Take,' money from casinos. They win it. I guess you could say those who outright cheat take it, but that's also a legal violation.

I don't vulture players, I vulture machines. I take no action whatsoever that would result in a change in the player's behavior, at least, never knowingly. I agree on APs seeing the difference.

I have no moral issues with people signing up and taking advantage of the situation whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I encourage it. From what I understand, and what I reading there were a few loopholes where we(my wife for sure) could have received some money. I just figured we didn't need it, and it wasn't worth the hassle.

Once again, The stimulus money does not add to the national debt or need to be paid back by taxpayers.

Did it come from the COVID-fairy? In any case, there are better uses for the money than giving it to me.

I don't either, everyone is free to take it if they want to. I guess my point is that it would be disharmonious with my political philosophy to take it, they can use it do try to pay down the national debt. If we were running a surplus and had no debt, sure, I'll take as much as they would like to give me.

If they didn't give it to us, they'd just find some other nonsense to waste it on.

So in that case, I'd rather have it.

I'm sorry you feel threatened by me.

Try writing true stories if you want to be believed by the forum members on here.

Personally if all you can AP is ketchup bottles (and the small size at that) I understand. We can't all make a successful career out of gambling

It would be okay, and few would challenge you if you weren't so sensitive about your past failures that you felt the need to boast about having a few benjies in your pocket and that you could afford to pay for many spring fling dinners. All that makes you sound ridiculous and opens you up to contumely. You bring it on yourself!

We didn't resign ourselves to sleeping on the streets for years, and that you'd show to a social WOV event with a mask on (in pre-coronavirus times) proves that you fall into the mentally ill camp of the homeless population.

Still, stick to what you know. Whatever that might be, writing is well beyond your ken.
