Thread: Tweet by a Slot Hustler being a Hypocrite

  1. #1
    Tweet is here: https://mobile.twitter.com/DeucesWil...35455844970496

It starts with: “Ok, I am going to say this one more time. Someone please take notes. Every time a hustler went to a machine and banged the different bet levels, regardless of who was at the machine next to you, you trained a ploppie.“

Later in the conversation / thread, she writes:
“This concept that gamblers are all stupid is dumb as shit. If you ever did this, you are the problem. It has nothing to do with the handful of people on Twitter. If you ever banged a machine next to a ploppie apologize now and I may forgive you.

I now see grandmas checking the bet levels for an opportunity before settling in on their 75 cent bet. They didn’t get that shit off the internet, they got it from some fucker banging the machine next to them and they aren’t stupid! Stop banging the fucking machines!“

So her trailer park argument is it’s okay for some people (like herself) to check bonus machines but not okay for others to check machines. Can she be anymore of a hypocrite? Unbeknownst to her, she probably taught a generation of Ploppies. (When I check a machine, I know I may be inadvertently teaching others including my competitors).

These are not your machines, her machines, my machines, etc. Anyone can check them for any reason. The saying is if you cannot handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I guess someone is butthurt because she has more competition.

This is my advice to people in my network: You want to be the one-eye king in the land of the blind (first to play the machine); you want to be the first to pull the ripcord and move on (when the bonus game is no longer playable for ANY reason); and you want to make as much as you can while it is still possible ... the eye should be focused on the next game where there is fewer competitors. You want to play the game of tomorrow and not yesterday’s game.

People were spoiled by Golden Egypt, Scarab & OM and now the games aren’t as profitable. The truth is these bonus games goes in cycle, e.g. each game has a life cycle. Another truth is barriers to entry or information asymmetry ... some games are a lot easier to figure out than others. There is a game of skill that is in a lot of casinos I frequent; the game is hiding in plain sight and I disclosed “effectively” how to beat the game in another forum for years and the best part is the limited competition.

You look at games like Buffalo Diamond or FarmVille, games with high variance (which is why I avoid them) and how hard is it to figure out that at some level of banked free games (aka the equity), you should sit down and play. Then you look at a game like OMG or Joe Blow et al and most people can’t figure out the marginal plays.

In summary, the easier the bonus slot can be beaten, the more competition you are going to get. And when homeless bums are camping out and playing these games, chances are the game is near the end of its life cycle in the casino.

These same Twits, (pardon the pun), were all ploppies at one point and learned by watching other AP's. Fuck 'em!

When I'm checking denoms I always check the ploppies for what they may be looking at. If they are looking at me they always look at my eyes then to what my eyes are looking at. I never look at the icons when I know a ploppie is looking at me.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I'm not an AP but I think they have a lot more to worry about with the AP information online, than they do by sitting next to a non-AP. I made a private list of all the slot hustlers I've found on Twitter and I checked after seeing your post, she's one of the accounts on my list. Any time I want to learn about plays I just open up my Twitter list. That's not even to mention all the "ploppy" sites that have information on advantage plays now.

Agree with your points, but I find the people who bang on machines rapidly at full volume with no discretion whatsoever can be annoying to ploppies and they annoy some other hustlers too because (I assume) they are worried about bringing heat and are working hard to be discrete themselves.

Me personally i totally agree that they aren’t my machines and if someone else a ploppie or a pro is checking them, more power too them and I hope they win.

As strange as it may sound and as hard as it may be to believe, I am actually happy when I see someone else win whether its a ploppie or a pro even if its on a play I just missed. And that is not just because Im trying to be a nice guy, its for selfish reasons also.

That stuff is going to happen all the time no matter what and having a positive attitude keeps your mind in the game. I see a lot of people go on tilt when then sort of thing happens and then spew their money away. I just smile and say or think (sincerely) “Nice hit! Good for you I’m glad you got that!” Knowing that as long as you keep your head in the game everyone will get a fair share.

I know an AP who learned from seeing people checking machines in the casino.
