Thread: About half of US Adults are Unemployed ... How are Casinos Still Open?

  1. #1
The US job front continues to be challenging with 47.2% of the adult labor force being jobless.

The big question I keep asking myself is how is the casino business, it’s an entertainment business, able to keep going with so many unemployed Americans? The older US population on fixed income are going to get their retirement checks. But what about the rest of the other Degens?

Thunder Valley, which is the largest casino in North Cali, has about 3,000 slots and during pre-Wuhan days, it was packed on a Saturday night ... a hustler couldn’t make much money as empty seats got filled fast. During my last trip to Thunder on a Saturday, I could walk 20 feet and not run into anyone. Before, it was a mad house.

The best telltale sign of how well a casino is doing is to look at High Limit where rich Degens were gambling obscene amounts of money. Both traffic in high limit slots and table games are really slow these days. Don’t get me wrong, there are still rich Degens with money to burn.

Why are they using a rarely seen statistic and making it sound like the normal unemployment rate? It makes a better headline.
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"

You are out of control, making threads that rarely get any replies.
    You need your own corner.

I don’t know if I agree with you monet. Even thought I don’t reply to most of Ex-Ap’s posts, I found them interesting and enjoy the content, and I usually learn something.

I’d rather read Ex-AP’s posts, than ones from Kj who is constantly rambling on about his latest feud with who knows who.

monet, you’re a hypocrite: You read my posts, you respond to my posts, you use material from my posts to attack me, etc. I don’t listen to feedback from hypocrites.

I write about jobs because I want Trump to win the next election and jobs in the US is the number one predictor of who gets elected. I don’t agree with everything Trump says or does but I know Trump loves America deeply and wants the best for America.

I am old-schooled and look for “feedback”, e.g. a code word for trading information. I have been giving free information via PMs to a small list of people on this site. So when I make a post about how to make money or beat a game, trust me the secret details are being exchanged via PMs.

Thunder Valley had a huge week when it reopened due to pent up demand; Degens missed the place. Now, a few weeks later I am very concerned about the low foot traffic at Thunder and my nearby casinos. Some of the smaller casinos are practically ghost towns during the week. I would not be surprised if some casinos cut hours and cease to be 24/7.

Show me one person that isn't a hypocrite in one way or another.
I think I have responded to you 10 times or less.
My point is, you create threads constantly that nobody replies to.
Just saying it would be better for you to have 1 thread where you constantly post.
You don't like it, ok no problem, keep making threads.
Dan doesn't seem to have a problem with you and I was just needling you a bit.
98% of the time I ignore your posts.

    No worries.
This guy currently has 115 threads!
I didn't realize how enjoyable his posts/threads are but now I realize, so carry on.

    1. Thanks for confirming you are a hypocrite.

    2. You might want to work on your math skills; I have less than 300 posts and you read say 10 of them which makes it incongruent with your 98% claim.

    3. You obviously have boundary problems with your Facist-oriented thread policing mentality. You might want to work on that.

    You win.
I promise never to read another post by you or reply to any post you are involved in.

No guys, Ex AP in theory is right. Many people lost their income for almost 4 months so far. So technically, these people SHOULDN'T have any money to gamble.

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

Smart is knowing a Tomato is a fruit.

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

I am glad to get my full posting rights back! Thank you Dan!
