The big question I keep asking myself is how is the casino business, it’s an entertainment business, able to keep going with so many unemployed Americans? The older US population on fixed income are going to get their retirement checks. But what about the rest of the other Degens?

Thunder Valley, which is the largest casino in North Cali, has about 3,000 slots and during pre-Wuhan days, it was packed on a Saturday night ... a hustler couldn’t make much money as empty seats got filled fast. During my last trip to Thunder on a Saturday, I could walk 20 feet and not run into anyone. Before, it was a mad house.

The best telltale sign of how well a casino is doing is to look at High Limit where rich Degens were gambling obscene amounts of money. Both traffic in high limit slots and table games are really slow these days. Don’t get me wrong, there are still rich Degens with money to burn.
