Thread: New game with potential advantage.

  1. #1
Walked into a small casino in the middle of nowhere and found this game today. A new take on an old IGT classic, with progressives. I’m normally skeptical of these games but I figured I would risk it for the hope the base game returns around 60%. Dangerous assumption but for a max $300 loss, assuming zero line hits, which didn’t happen. My first spin showed me the bottom meter moves .10, which is where I came up with the max $330 loss counting the $200 win at full meter.

As you can see I ran 11 spins, and started with $100 and was down $13 before the hit on $55 coin in. Way too small of a sample size to show anything.

The game has different progressive levels based on 5 bet sizes from .50 to $5.00. This was at the 10x $5.00 level. Note each bet size has a different progressive, not just a multiple of the bet. Which seems to be the normal these days.

Anyways, credit to my wife for seeing this game and letting me know. And showing the sharing of information is ok.

Thanks to KJ for proving the Wizard doesn’t really mean it when he says someone is “Dead to Him”.

And if anyone is asking, like many new games, 20 lines costs .50 which is why it is $5.00 a spin at 10x. And .50 for 20 lines at 1x.

    Times change.

Didn't I just get excoriated for sharing info on plays.

Or is this one such utter garbage that it's okay to share

Both, it’s certainly not worth a million a year.

I think at this stage, must hit by's are common knowledge.

They have these in different themes:
    Lobster game
    Coyote Moon Deluxe (CMD)

A few others escape me. In CMD, it comes in two games: regular version without progressives and CMD with progressives so the scavengers are constantly toggling between the two games to see the meters.

Once you get CMD, just toggle bet per line to see the jackpot for that specific denom or use the help screen.

The CMD hit at the jackpot amount in my neck of the woods. The lowest is $20 then $40 so you see $20 & $40 wins. The meter is 2% per spin (meter increases during the bonus round) for the lowest jackpot.

I never find anything since it attracts low bankroll hustlers for the bottom jackpots and the deep pocket scavengers have locals that will sit on the machine when the top jackpot hits a certain number. You could mark your calendar as to when the top jackpot becomes a play.

Forgot to add two ways to win progressive:
    1) plays like a MH
    2) get 3 or more symbols with progressives from right to left

I hate going of my memory but it’s like 3 jackpots per denom and 5 denoms per game so 15 jackpots to chase.

Btw, I second jbjb’s view that it’s common knowledge about these types of games.

    Here is a reference point.

Lowest jackpot is $20 MH at $0.50 a spin.

Reset is $17 and jackpot tends to be awarded at $20. Meter moves at 2% so ($3 jackpot movement / 2%) is less than or equal to $150 of coin in. If you get bonus round (5 spins), the meter moves as well for each spin ... bonus rounds tend to pay $4 on $0.50.

Market clears in the low $18 range.

Ah, why was OneHitWonder banned without warning? For posting up a pistol with its barrel bent back toward the user?

Whose was the obviously troll account, SlobDinger?

Sorry about typo: games pays left to right so progressive is 3 or more progressive symbols **left to **

    Again, sorry about the typo.

I'm certainly no expert but in the last 3 months I have witnessed 2 $10,000+ and one $12,000+ winners on the lightning link games. The biggest stirwas the $12,000 winner who was betting .50˘ a spin. The other two were $1 and $1.50 a spin respectively. I myself have hit two major jackpots, one $560 and the other $750 at .50˘. All this while enjoying myself trying to win a small couple of wins freom varying 50€-&1.50 bets. I'll leave the math for you guys.

    $20 / roughly $150 coin-in is roughly 13.33% (jackpot is at reset)

    $20 / roughly $75 coin in is 26.66% (jackpot is at $18.50)

So you can see if the jackpot is in the $19 range, you out to play it with worse return being roughly 40% ($20 jackpot / $50 coin in).
