Someone asked how I deal with hosts who come visit me when I am using other players cards. It does happen occasionally.

The simple answer is just act like you are the person.

Generally hosts are coming because they see a lot of action being played on the card.

It is in their best interest to keep the player happy. When they introduce themselves I have never had a host ask for ID. And even if they suspect you are using someone else's card, that is an issue for security to ask for ID.

But the fact is you are gambling a lot of coin in. You haven't even raised their radar yet (as a threat that is and why should you when your money is flowing in their direction)

Even using a card of the opposite sex isn't a problem. I have had hosts come up to me with clearly female names and address me as that name.

It's hard not to laugh when a host came up to me and said "You must be Mr. Felicia?"

To members on here I am certain that sounds crazy but it's not. Last thing a host wants to do is piss off a customer that has warranted their attention.

Would anyone on here (acting as a host) demand ID if they saw a man playing on a card with the name Leslie?

I am sure if it was Leslie Nielson you just accused of using a woman's card, that business would be out the window.

How about if you saw a man playing on a card with the name Marion Morrison? I am sure John Wayne would be leaving in a huff if you accused him of using a woman's name(his birth name was Marion Morrison)

I actually have a longtime member of my crew, a male named Wendy. He comes from Haiti where that is a decidedly male name.

Hosts just don't want to offend a paying customer and why get suspicious of someone spending? They won't risk offense. And there are too many men who do have female names in the world

So, it's really not an issue

However the easiest way to avoid any concerns is simply to play late. Most hosts aren't known for hanging around midnight hours (at least not on the East Coast). They are more of a 9-5 crowd!
