Obviously, I have too much time on my hands today. Four inches of snow. Doesn't snow you in in Pennsylvania, but it limits you when you live on the side of a little mountain in Tennessee.

I was reading KJ's signature quote from Dan Druff and the title of this thread. It's sad. If you take away the non-math bullshitting by Singer, he had real good Las Vegas knowledge stretching back decades, presumably before wrecking his bankroll. He knew what was what and who was trying to do to whom around town. It's terrible that he went off the rails.

I was reminded of this because the print edition of Gaming Today will cease publishing after the SB. GT was sold, and the print edition will be no more. When I was hanging in LV 100 days out of each year for decades, I could count on picking up GT in the sports books and often seeing Rob's smiling puss on the front page. He got placed on the front page quite often, which was pretty weird because GT also had columns by video poker APs who were in direct contradiction to "Singer's" column. GT's print version becomes a bit of history. Glad I finished in the top 10 of the last NFL contest.

They were of no real value for actually gambling, but if you had to sit in a sports book, drink a coffee and eat a danish, they were okay reading material. They were for tourists, but Monti Rock had an entertainment column and there was usually a reasonably informative casino business column or two. Then again, there was an equivalent of a "Page Four" girl somewhere, and a column trying to help people win at keno, so it wasn't exactly high brow reading. It was an odd mix -- covered all the bases.

    Good one Druff!

The real question is "who is Rob Singer?" And that has pretty much been answered here in recent days and weeks, or maybe a slow drip of a real answer culminating in recent days. Rob Singer is/was a fictional character. Nothing more.

So the real question becomes. Why would Gaming Today have a fictitious character, writing as though his experiences were real. Almost seems some culpability to that.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

Crappy song. Oh, well, slow day.

Dan should have made them an offer. Heck, Singer is right here.

Every one /everyone knows it all; yet, no thing /nothing is truly known by any one /anyone. Similarly, the suckers think that they win, but, the house always wins, unless to hand out an even worse beating.

When and where did Rob wreck his bankroll? What was he playing? Sounds like a pretty juicy story. How about giving us the details. Just the facts please. No speculation.

Ok, Bob Dancer is a pen name or fictitious name and if he used that name to write articles and claims that are not real, he should be called out. I am not familiar with him, so I have no idea. Are you saying Bob Dancers claims are not real? If so, you should call him out.

Shouldn't his name be Richard Jackoff? (dick)

And by the way you can't post that as it is doxing.

I really blew this one...so to speak.

I should have said: Might as well make him a jr, for good measure....or lack there of.

Sorry, was asleep at the wheel.
