Oh my.....WHAT will they do this time around? Mass Suicides would be very, very acceptable
Well, suicide won't be my thing. If THIS pathological liar wins I won't have to-I'll accept the consequences and hope for the best. I'll have to admit they were smart to avoid a stimulus package so it would appear Trump became a great savior so as to save his ass by seeming to create solutions from preplanned stalling for 13 weeks. So after a day of golf everything is fine!
Obama set the record for recreational days off while president. His record is so high it can't be broken. Trump is the hardest working president of my lifetime.

Sling, the intellectual dishonesty of you lefties is stunning. If Trump makes you so mad that you would vote democrat you never were a conservative to start with.

The violence in the big cities was not spontaneously created by protestors demonstrating against police brutality. It is totally orchestrated by the hard left who have broken ranks with run of the mill liberals. The lust for power of the hard left has caused them to go violent. They've grown impatient in trying to create their socialist utopian dream. They think violence will do the trick. But take a look at all those big city dwellers now protesting against defunding the cops. These are not conservative people. They are run of the mill liberals and they are fed up with the violence. Who do you think is going to benefit from all of this on election day? It won't be Hidin' Biden.

PS: You have tunnel vision. Trump's lies pale in comparison to the monumental and prolific lies of the dems.

Glad you agree Trump is a liar. Hopefully someone like a Bolton will quit being a pussy and verify what I see as intentional delay of stimulus headed by Trump to make Congress look like the culprits so he can swoop in as MAGA MAN and save the day. Sure I'm a little weird, but it fits his style.

    Don't fret sling--ALL never-Trumpers are weird.

All the nonsense now is sooo worth it. It just makes Trump's coming re-election that much more satisfying, as he once again breaks the hearts--and minds--of every libtard, pussified girly-men, homos, and totally misguided weirdos in the country.

    Can't wait!!

All politicians are liars. That means the dems you love so much are liars. But you never point out their lies. What's up with that? Bolton is a lying weasal. He fabricated lies on Trump to sell books. Only dimwits think he has any credibility.

Where you are totally off the wall is who is delaying the stimulus. Your precious socialist whack job dems are the ones holding out. Damn dude. Wake up and smell the coffee.

While I knew some of the results, I decided to spend some time reviewing data over the last 45 years regarding US Presidents and their acknowledged vacation days. I first utilized Wikipedia, but then read about 8 to 10 articles covering this subject. Wikipedia gave a broad range for both Presidents Clinton and Reagan, but I will use use the higher number for both individual as additional articles supported the higher number. The numbers are based as if each President served two terms, 8 years. Remember, an average worker has weekends off (104 days) and approximately ten federal holidays. Over 8 years, that number is 912 days. Here are the results based on most vacation days listed first:

    Elder Bush 1,086, Younger Bush, 1,020, Reagan 866, Trump 632, Clinton 345, Obama 328, and Carter 158.

I always believed Jimmy Carter was the hardest working ex-President, specifically working with Habitat for Humanity. While he may not be viewed as a successful President, no one outworked him while in office.

As for golfing, Trump averages 87 rounds/year and Obama averaged 42 rounds/year. There is actually a website that monitors this: https://presidentialgolftracker.com/

For me, the success of a President ties into the people he surrounds himself with, not the time spent working. Still, reviewing these numbers was interesting.

One such person was Peter Navarro. Watching him on Face the Nation was hilarious. He was actually using the very words Mickey and Rob were using and I almost accused them of using his words. At First I was upset with Todd for only calling him out on two statements, but then I decided it was better to just let him rant on. It got funnier and more bizarre the more he talked.

Not sure about the Reagan 866 number. Every online article I look at states 335.

Nearly 30 years after he left office, Ronald Reagan is known for spending time at his beloved, sprawling Santa Barbara, California ranch. But from 1981 to 1989, he spent 335 days away from Washington — a number that Trump will overtake in far less than eight years.
I am somewhat tempted to believe this, based on the fact that Reagan had one of his addresses changed.

In 1989, Nancy and Ronald Reagan, when moving to their home in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles after the 1988 election, had its address—666 St. Cloud Road—changed to 668 St. Cloud Road.
Maybe, he vacationed two additional days, so that it wouldn't be 333.

At the end of this last article are 666 comments. At least the first few are hilarious.

    555 = 111 + 4*111 = 15*37, or 37*15, as 153, and 7, or, 371, and 5. As 153 on 371, to 5/7 left, as 6 +/- 1.

    3/21 to 8/22 is 153 + 1 days. 321 = 107*3 + 0; 123 = 3*71 + 0. To 1/0. 822 = (-1 + 7)(37 + 100); 228 = 57[6 - (1 + 1)], ---> 11411. 15[3^2] = 153 + (5 + 1). 154 days is ~ 42.08% of year 2020. 451 = 11*41^1.

I try to stay down the center path. Both Presidential individuals are making word gaffs. Within the last 24 hours Trump stated that the 1917 Spanish Flu effectively ended World War !!. The flu basically covered the years 1918 and 1919. Yes, it could have ended World War ! but not World War !!.

The latest from a WH spokesman is whether Harris called Biden a racist during a debate. It will be interesting how this accusation pans out. Never a dull moment regarding both sides.

Yeah-my son argued with me in 2016 for voting for Trump as the "lesser of two evils." Now this year presents more of the same. I cringe for our nation.

The Spanish flu, also known as the 1918 flu pandemic, was an unusually deadly influenza pandemic caused by the H1N1 influenza A virus. Lasting from February 1918 to April 1920, it infected 500 million people–about a third of the world's population at the time–in four successive waves.
A massive flu pandemic is known to have caused tens of millions of deaths worldwide in 1918 and 1919, not 1917; there has been some research suggesting this flu was circulating in 1917, but it caused its vast destruction in the two following years. Regardless, this pandemic obviously did not end the "Second World War," which occurred from 1939 to 1945; it did sicken soldiers during the final year of World War I.
The 1918 influenza virus's style of killing was unlike that seen for most other influenza strains known. Airborne, it was highly infectious, causing illness in 50 percent or more of those exposed to it, and its morbidity and mortality rates were peculiar, too: it had an estimated mortality rate of 20 percent, whereas other strains of influenza normally kill just 0.1 percent of their victims. Its patterns of lethality were unique, preferentially killing healthy young people between 20 and 40 years of age whilst leaving older people relatively unharmed. Additionally, it was an especially efficient killer of pregnant women, whose mortality rate ranged between 23 and 71 percent.

It was an obvious verbal slip. Everyone knows he was talking about WW 1. Jeez, what's up with you guys? The slightest little thing. And Trump is screwing off playing golf all the time? The dude holds a press conference a day. Hardest working president I've ever seen. And he's gotten a shit ton of stuff done too. You might not support it but he's gotten a lot done.

If you guys elect China Joe Biden then the Chi-Comm's are going to start back up fucking us all up the ass with steel wool. Hidin' Biden will make the best president China ever had.

Trump sleeps an avg. of 4 hours a night because he knows the country needs someone who cares about it 110 percent and not 50 like Obama. The guy works harder than a sports handicapping-scammer desperately trying to sell picks. Can anybody even begin to image Hiden' Biden trying to wake up at 4am while expecting to get a solid ten every night?

The "lesser of two evils"? Are you insane? Do you have a 401k or any market investments? Have you watched them grow since the "evil Trump" was elected?

Now we'll hear "oh the guy's rude, crude and irreverent" or "he acts like he's a king". Who gives a f*** about that stuff? If he wants to give you Manhattan, you don't take Staten. And if he wants to keep Law and Order as the cornerstone of the land, you don't allow weirdos to roam the streets every night in big libtard-run cities. You bust heads.

    Wise up sling.

Spot on Rob...too many people, including some relatives and close friends of mine, focus on his personality and behavior instead of the bottom line. Although I agree he does himself zero favors with the stupid shit he says on Twitter and elsewhere, he was never brought up as a professional politician to begin with....all I know is that my retirement accounts thank him and have just gotten fatter and fatter

You both hit it on the head. But here is the issue, far too many losers never saved a dime and have no vested interest as we do in being rewarded for our hard work. And worse yet, the are jealous and hate seeing the market go up.

They are full of excuses for why they saved nothing, yet in most cases a simple look shows all you need to know. They always had the newest cars, the fanciest clothes and accessories, newest electronics and so much more. I’m 55 and have been fortunate enough to have saved since my early 80’s through the greatest stock market gains in history. For the most part I am in mutual funds and don’t gamble with individual stocks, though I have as my assets grew. With this years hoax, I have been through 4 major corrections and have gotten everything back every time.

The old adage is people vote their own best financial interest come election time. I hope that is true again, but you have to be worried with the amount of irresponsible people out there just looking for a handout and a do over for a lifetime of failures and bad choices.

Trump put all of his "eggs" into one basket. No wonder that all he could do was maintain the trend. Anyway, is the market supposed to depend on current leaders?

If you guys are like Crimm and Singer, with also the baloney, then very likely you, either, have the proverbial pot to piss in. Sounds like overcompensating from a bunch of morons.

Well, we know that Crimm and Singer are morons, so, surely Bozo bar, and Keystoner can't be far behind. Keep your drinks close, gentleman. Something to get you through your old age. Ha.

I had a response typed up a few hours ago and now I have to update it. I agree with all three comments from Sling, Rob, and LMR

Sling - The President's behavior is abhorrent. He is an individual that rarely, if ever, admits mistakes. Lost too many cabinet members. Resents and sometimes takes revenge on fellow Republicans that disagree with him. Goes off script and makes unique comments that make no sense. If I was an employee, I would have a difficult time working for him. If I was in business, I would have a difficult time selling to him (bankruptcies). Do you want your daughter marrying an individual similar to him (excluding the money)? I believe COVID, economy, unemployment, and the polls have sent his personality to a new extreme.

Rob - Like Rob, for the most part I live off my 401K. The President's job is to perform and not be soft. The market has done well. He has forced other countries to pay their fair share in various organizations (United Nations, etc.). He tried to work with China and North Korea. He is forcing US companies to bring back their foreign manufacturing business back home. He tried to implement tariffs on unequal trade relations. Both Boz and Keystone have agreed that you have to get past the personality. If not for COVID, Trump might have had a slight lead in the polls. Four years ago, America wanted change. Those who are older and were fortunate to put money aside, have been rewarded.

LMR - Does a President, as an individual or member of a certain party have influence on the stock market? Some believe that Republicans are more fiscally response and more friendly to big business which relates well to Wall Street. If Biden becomes President will the recent market surge stop? Is it because he is a Democrat and/or because he will likely raise taxes on higher income individuals? Six months ago I addressed comments made here about how much better Trump has done influencing the market than Obama. Granted Obama came in after a horrible 2008. COVID has impacted 2020. If you take the first 36 months of Obama 1, Obama 2, and Trump (purposely stopping at January 31st to keep COVID out of the equation) the Dow Jones collective increase was 53%, 14.5%, and 33.5%. The S&P 500 numbers were 51%, 24%, and 33%. If you add February, March, April, and May 2020 Obama 1 numbers stay the same but Obama 2 numbers increase tremendously and Trumps' fall behind Obama 2. It is not fair for any President to experience a pandemic, but these numbers do support much of what LMR states.
