Thread: song reco

Here's a new Garrett/Bobbi podcast from Eric's channel that he just put together (Spidey is a guest panelist of course). I haven't watched it yet, so I don't know if it's a reco or not:

We know it is likely she cheated of course so this is obviously for entertainment purposes just as the previous podcast was.

I'm going to share with you the proper move in this situation.
I haven't seen anyone even mention it but it all hinges on fours looking like aces which they do and everyone knows it.
First Off you have to try and call out his hole cards before the river.
You have to say something like I put you on low cards with a flush draw and I hope it isn't the straight flush draw.
Next you run it twice because you always run it twice but let the other player make that decision.
    Third and the most important.
When the Ace Spikes you act happy.
And when you turn over your cards you claim Ace Jack but look sick/surprised when you turn over J4.
Now you explain that you swear to God you thought you had Ace Jack because you squeezed the cards too hard and too quick.
Also you never look back at your hand... that's a rookie mistake... I never do that shit... EVER.
The only exception is when you want to make your opponent think you have a flush draw but I actually never look, I act like I am giving them a quick peek.
Its a known tell that people look back for flush draws.
Most likely the truth is this girl is a complete airhead but I don't like her constantly changing her story.
I really believe she is high as a kite on drugs most of the time.
But like I say... fours look like aces if you look at them at a funny angle.
In either case you have to look and act embarrassed when you turn over J4... you can't do like she did and act all superior.
And then change your story over and over again.
    That's crazy lol.
In either case you have to explain that you misread your cards after turning over that trash and you have to apologize and be embarrassed forever.
It really doesn't help that her backer boyfriend was in the game with her and that she is married to someone else.
That's a horrible look for her to be backed by that obvious hustler.
Most Pros will not agree but I am a firm believer on always playing on your own money.
Even if you are backed by someone take out a loan from them so its your money.
Don't do like those idiots on live stream that say they have a percentage of this guy or that guy.
Phil Hellmuth does that stupid shit on live recorded tv... stupid.

Great stuff Monet, thanks. I totally agree about your observation that she is on drugs most of the time. On the Pokernews podcast that just dropped a day or so ago where she is interviewed, IIRC, she even says something like she is always on OCD meds, and didn't take them that day of the incident because she had too much to drink or was hung over or some such shit. Anyway, because of his accusation, Garrett lost out on a lot of money because he and Bobbi have been told not to participate in the Hustler stream during the investigation.

As we agreed before, the big winners are the podcasters. For example in his four 11 hour plus podcasts, I can only imagine how much money Joey Ingram banked from superchat bucks. Monetizing suspected cheats is big bucks !! The new move here may be to not cheat, but look like you are cheating, in collusion with podcasters and then split the dough from stream chat participants.

    lol no chance in HELL.
The best of the best shoot ungodly scores like 22 under par on the hardest settings for 18 holes.
Supposedly there are many ways to cheat the swing meters and other things.
That doesn't mean that super skilled players don't exist because they certainly do.
The point is that online gaming and cheating are synonymous like every other aspect of life as you already know.
I just enjoy getting lost inside of the game sort of like how I can get lost in a book or movie.
Escapism at its finest for me.
Back when I was living on Links LS Golf I did rise up to number 6 on Case's Ladder but that was most likely do to less active players.
Look at that guys Youtube Channel called Respawn that I posted in that other thread.
He has like 7k subs lol... it's a niche game at best.
And he has massive video game golf content.

Yes. For example, they can probably train an AI bot to play the golf games perfectly and then claim it is their score.

Not exactly a great song or parody of Miley Cyrus (who sucks anyway and literally) and I'm not too keen on using cartoons but the theme goes along with tableplays disdain for the CIA.
I do think it is worth a 3 minute viewing to at least say you seen it.
Even though I don't like the song I do like it a million times better than the original: Party in the USA.

Agreed Danny, special band. I haven't watched it yet, but Steve Arrington was interviewed about the making his solo Way Out album. I haven't watched it yet, but plan to:

Wow, Al really packed a lot into that video. Thanks for posting that one Monet - I hadn't seen it before.

lol... ok here you go with something that I found more interesting.
It's a never before seen Coverage Take of "Eat It" where they are just doing whatever they want and filming it.
It reminds me of how whacky I used to be when I would be alone in my room when I was 6 or 7 years old.

He certainly didn't hold back on some issues, people and topics.
My favorite is when he shot the guy at the bar but he made sure he put two more bullets into the guy before leaving to make sure.
    That's How You Do It!!

EDIT: Oh and he steals his drink lol.
I went back and watched it a few more times and realize it is more clever than I first thought after I got past the hatred of the tune.
It grows on you after a few viewings lol.
You picked up on the cleverness faster than I did.

I also like watching this guy and a few others react to Weird Al Videos.
This guy is more educated with his break downs.
He makes a good point about the No Fly List and how we have the Freedom of Speech to say these things about Government Organizations.
Even though making this sort of video could get you disappeared.

Another case where Weird Al's version Trumps the Original and he touches on the CIA and Conspiracies that turn out to be the truth.
I think Party in the CIA was better because it went harder and everything was without a doubt what the CIA does.

Alright, I know I am endless posting and never Shutting the Fuck Up but this is the last one for awhile... I swear.
It's an original song by Weird Al.
I'm not sure how much I like it... it's ok... it has an impressive break down at around the 2:44 mark in the song.
Al never made a music video for it but a couple of fans did, 15 and 7 years ago.
Both certainly do the song justice and make the song better.
I like the words because it does something for my enjoyment as I read along while listening.
Probably something Scientific going on there that I don't know about.
And the other video is very well put together which certainly has shades of Talking Heads.

Very humorous take of "Eat It". Both in this one and the conventional "Eat It" video, I really like the little "Oh Lord" vocal that pops into it as the song is going, but the rest of it is really funny too of course. As far as the CIA video, you pointed out a very funny portion with Ye Old Double Tap to ensure the hit is complete. Another one that really stood out and was extremely funny was when two CIA agents sandwiched around a dude they were torturing and they were alternating punches to the guy's head in perfect sync to the rhythm of the song.

Yes he had a nice take on Al's video (I always pronounce it as Yankovich, not Yankovik like he did). He also keyed in on the CIA agents alternating punches to the beat of the groove to the interogee's head since that was a masterpiece part of the parody.

I agree. Foil was pretty funny but what would have helped me enjoy it more was if I knew who Lorde is and had heard her song before. These obscure artists should be thanking Al for getting them exposure. Remember the time Dan Druff posted that singer who was supposed to be a big deal that canceled her shows and I had never heard of the cunt before that (Adele). Well if Al had just done one of the songs from this awful Adele cunt who, as it turned out, was the same cunt that sang the worst Bond song ever, I would have heard of her ;-)

So one other comment about Foil (and thanks for posting it) - the director of the cooking show (that pulled off the human mask at the end and was actually a lizard man) is someone I've seen in a lot of other shit and I'm sure you have too. I forget his name but maybe it will come to me later.

It seems like a spoof of something, but of course it is not. I like the rapid fire listing of the inventory. thanks for the link.

You aren't wrong in anything you have said about this topic.
Personally, I seek out the original to get more context of what Weird Al is doing.
I'll listen to maybe half of the song or more if I can stomach it.
Sometimes I just can't stomach more than a minute or so.
    But I get enough context.
A very extreme example is R Kelly and his 33 chapters of Trapped in the Closet.
Now before R Kelly went to jail I really never heard of him or his music.
I was too busy focusing on all the Free Money the Casino was giving me all day and all night.
And that type of music isn't something that I enjoy or seek out.
But I was listening to a Joe Rogan Podcast a few years ago and they played some of this Trapped in the Closet.
So I got the context right away as the entire song has the same melody throughout and I think it lasts for 90 or 133 minutes.
I really can't figure it out.
I think it is 33 chapters.
Anyways I probably listened to maybe 5 minutes of it entirely which gave me context to enjoy what Weird Al did with his Trapped in the Drive Thru song.
Which is actually pretty Fucking Funny when you realize what he is doing and how spot on he is doing it.
And Weird Al only did 10 minutes which is going pretty Fucking Hard for a parody that is impossible to parody a 2 hour, 33 chapter serial song.
But like I say... after a couple of minutes you get the point.
I prefer Weird Al's version as I find it more relatable and I didn't listen to enough of the original R Kelly Storyline.
Weird Al said that R Kelly's version was so over the top that he decided to go the other way and sing about something very common and mundane.

Yes I never listened to R Kelly either. The first time I even heard of him was because of a Dave Chappelle Show (Comedy Central) skit where they made a joke about him because he got charged with some absolutely horrible stuff involving a minor or minors. He somehow got away with it, but of course all of that eventually caught up with him and he got jailed as you mentioned. If Adele pays Al to create a parody of one of her songs, I might actually listen to the original. Thanks for the Drive-Thru link, I'll listen to it.
