Thread: The Pandemic Proof is in the Predictive Pudding

  1. #1
A lot of vitriol on this site, especially coming from those who have been pandemically challenged.

Here's what I suggest. Go back, check out the months of posts, and find a few posts where I've been significantly wrong about something. Then, go back, and try to find some posts where, say, mickey crimm or "Singer" have been significantly right about something. See which outnumbers which. LOL.

The fascinating thing is that, in private, the President has been correct. In public, not so much. But some posters, unfortunately, bought the public over the private. As it turns out, my writing reads as if I had been copying from the President's private blog.

Anyway, take a crack at me being wrong and see if it outnumbers mickey and "Singer" being right.

Stay safe. Just because Canada and Mexico and Europe don't want Americans doesn't mean we did anything wrong.

I do have a final question about the whole "don't create a panic" angle, however. Doesn't that suggest that Americans are more prone to panic than Spain or Italy or New Zealand or South Korea? Those countries certainly didn't panic. They faced the same disease. Maybe Americans are just scaredy cats. Or more prone to mental issues than, say, the Spanish or Japanese. Food for thought.

I don't know if that is true, but this country has started to go downhill. The behavior I see exhibited and supported on this board is not what was acceptable when I was a boy/young man. I know that much. Not at least amongst civilized men.

I was as right about the virus as the democrats were. Pelosi telling everybody to come on out and party. The New York dems telling everybody not to fear the virus. Biden telling us all how wrong Trump was for putting on the travel ban. If you are right, Comrade Deitz, then why are you supporting and voting for all those democrats that were wrong?

For the countries you named have you taken a look at how hard their economies were hit? They took it much harder than us. Another thing those countries don't have is the tradition of freedom that America has. Their leaders get to order them around like they are little bitches. You won't get away with that for very long in America.

Why are you bragging to Singer and me when you could be bragging to the democrats that were wrong.

But here is the real quandary for Robert Earl Dietz. If he was so right then his precious democrats were abysmally wrong. Pretty much a hollow victory for you, right, Ditz?

"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

PS: Ditz, have you checked to see which state has the strongest economy right now? It's South Dakota. And they didn't shut down. And their CV deaths are below the national average.

Of all places, South Dakota, Singers favorite state.

Pelosi got dragged and ragged so hard for getting her hair done at a SHUTDOWN Salon. With NO mask on. The backlash also spread to The Hair Salon Owner and she says she is shutting down her Hair Salon permanently amids all the backlash. :/

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

As if Trump doesn't order Mickey around to a degree far beyond how most totalitarian states control their local sheeple.

Mickey, I'm not sure you grasped the concept, so I'll spell it out for you. Shutting down is an artificial way to reduce population density. It mimics the same effects as if suddenly there were fewer people per square mile interacting. States with very low population densities to start are, in effect, reaping the rewards of having few people per square mile and fewer interactions per square mile. In essence, somewhere like South Dakota is in a pseudo-shutdown all the time. Of course, it helps when you have super spreader events and export contagion and your state basically doesn't have to count those infections towards any state total or pick up the health care tab, but it derives the economic boost.

And the word "strongest" is in reference to what? It's economy declined the least as compared to before the pandemic? I mean, so what? Where does South Dakota rank in economy size among the states? LOL. Take a guess.

It's 49th if you count D.C. and Puerto Rico. Hard to fall far from 49th. It's ahead of Montana, Vermont, and Wyoming.

See, mickey, this is where you've gone to the dishonest side. You knew these stats, but you presented the word "strongest" as if it meant something. Plus South Dakota relies on tourism. It exported its virus cases, including Sturgis. Other states got to pick up the virus tallies and the tab for South Dakota. Nevada's doing the same thing on a larger scale.

Cease with the nonsense stats. Yeah -- South Dakota's burgeoning economy is an example for the world on how to deal with Covid-19. Brilliant. Well, at least you didn't go with #50, your home state.

And for the record, I'm not a Democrat. The nicest thing I've said about Hilary on this forum was that "she's sane." Go ahead -- I'm approaching 6,000 posts, and you won't find anything positive about Clinton or Pelosi other than that Clinton "is sane" and Pelosi "knows how to get under Trump's skin." Those are the biggest compliments I have given either of them. Go ahead, look it up, dude.

    Then report the truth.

And I agree that I'm no coronavirus expert. I certainly am not in any way. I just happened to get everything correct because I listened to and read experts from all over the world and synthesized the information. It was not hard.

You should try it some day.

Here's what boggles my mind. The president's on tape saying things about the coronavirus in February and March that I posted here in March and April. He chose to not share these things with mickey. I shared what I knew with mickey. Mickey, however, loves the president for not sharing and is upset with me for sharing what I knew.

    Yeah, that about covers it.

Holy shit,,,, finally a post short enough to make a point. All without claiming to be a journalist, creative writer, and Billy Walters' waterboy. Will wonders never cease.

I've been given advice to "leave mickey alone hes not worth it" from a very sharp lurker. I'm just bored, but yea... There is a lot to like about the guy. There really is. It is unfortunate. No one around here defends Trump like Mickey. Singer does but Singer just says whatever he can to try and get a reaction out of people. Singer has no redeeming qualities in life. A real air-thief. Mickey has plenty of redeeming qualities and it is best you just don't argue politics for him.

I have a new circle of old acquaintances who come from this fucked up version of small government. I get to see the world through the eyes of this type elsewhere. The true victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I mean, did you know senators are calling out for Netflix to be prosecuted for childporn now? Thank you QAnon. No, they're not liberals.

Best to let Mickey be Mickey and talk about gambling and be happy.

Elsewhere Mickey mentioned his genealogy work. I went down that rabbithole once and learned some cool stuff. No one famous, but I have roots to my city that predate anyone I've ever met. So I get that and respect that.

Singer would never do that. Singer can't afford to pay for the electricity he bums off his daughter to air up his beat-ass RV's tire.

Too bad Mickey wouldn't write a book about gambling machines and that whole process of coming across plays and the shit he saw. It would be one of those classic gambling books. The mindset of finding plays and sharing info back then. I love wandering around casinos with a cocktail in hand trying to find a play or just a new game. I've found a few games on my own, I love it. Mickey is right not much $$$ in it but genealogy doesn't either.

Comrade Dietz excels at putting words together, that really don't belong with each other, to come up with some psychobabble bullshit that he thinks will sound intelligent and baffle his detractors. The stupidity is in magnitudes. Yes, I know Comrade Dietz is not a Democrat. He just considers them to be useful idiots. He's a died in the wool marxist.

PS: Johns Hopkins has already debunked the 260K covid cases attributed to Sturgis.

In March and April did you publish the remarks of Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, and many other Governors for their praise of Trumps federal response to their requests. It was definitely in the predictive pudding that you would never do such a thing, commie.

I've been given public advice to leave acuntinquestion alone. That there is no benefit in arguing with the ignorant. He showed a fundamental lack of knowledge on the Israeli/Arab conflict but made ignorant comments about it anyway to try and act like he knew what was going on. I think this is what he does with other issues as well. And I think it's time to put him back on ignore. He's a waste of time.

Comrade Dietz, you totally expose yourself here as anti-american. But what I really don't get about you is how little regard you have for people being able to pay their rent/mortgage, utility bills, insurance, put food on the table. You once said that the shutdown only put some minimum wage workers out of work. Do you know how many small businesses won't be back? I would ask you if you care but I know you don't. I guess you don't have any family at all. Family that may have been hurt because of the shutdown.

You might now pay some lip service to it but it's to late. Your silence on it is/was golden. You really don't give a rats ass about people.

laaawl.. ohhh you are so cute. Like a little baby. Wittle wittle baby man. Sooo adorable.

I wish I could send a voice message to show I actually mean it.
I triggered you pretty good. So much for you "leaving me alone." You can't stay away. LOL!! I'm in your head and you can't get me out. Try therapy.
I am not out to own you or score one over on you. I have a million other things to do. You're right though, I did respond but I need to really really not get into politics with you. Literally a complete and utter waste of time. You do lead me to some insight into the opposition mentality but at the end of the day it is all puppet talk and why the fuck do I want to argue with a puppet? I still like you on some level though. You're an interesting one Mickey Crimm.

    Edit - 2 things

    Tonight I am drinking !

and took me a bit to remember 2nd point but uhhh I don't think you lol triggered me. Laughing wanting to tell you a message vocally aint exactly triggering, but if you feel good.

Honestly, you project a ton. Your game will never work on me. I speak truth and can defend it to my grave. You speak puppet bullshit.

And BTW - regardless of whether I agree with redietz, I've never had one moment of not being able to understand what he was trying to convey. Hey but keep at it, you're good at creating alternate truths and realities in your head.

On some level that is a blessing.. TRUST ME
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"
