Thread: Head to head battle for just TWO of your Local Casinos! :D

  1. #1
So, in this thread, it is a Local Casino vs A Local Casino. Once again, only TWO Local Casinos of your choice are featured.

    I'll start.

Hialeah Park Casino vs Gulfstream Park Casino.

    Convienience of bus travel.

HPC is VERY conveniently located for me. One bus from home to go and one bus to go to work. GPC is also conveniently located to go to GPC and then to work.

    Opening hours.

Both of them have convienient opening hours. 9 Am for HPC and 10 AM for GPC.

    Roulette

HPC's has 3 Roulette Tables, each at a $2 minimum, one is a .25 denomination and the other two are .50 denominations. On Mondays and Wednesdays, you can earn "Earn your free play days". Monday is Flamingo Fun where $50 coin in is a Free Play Flamingo. On Wednesday, $50 earns a free play on the free play wheel. Every day that is NOT a Monday or a Wednesday earns NO free play at all nor points.

GPC, you earn Points every day on Roulette. On Thursday, you can earn up to $200 in free play playing just Roulette. On Fridays, you earn 8 times the points which can be turned into free play. Roulette is $5 a minimum.

    Fun slots.

GPC has Stinking Rich, a game that ANY bet can trigger the Keys To Riches game which is a 100 line game regardless of bet. So, you can win the 100 Keys To Riches Bonus Game on literally one cent. The only caveat is that the Keys Bonus has to be three on a line which is really hard to win on a one penny line.

Hialeah has ONE game where you can win over $2,000 on ONE penny. Not saying which one it is. Hialeah has a Stinking Rich Clone called Bombay. On Bombay, you can win BIG money on just one penny.

    Safety and health

Gulfstream closed for about three months and then STAYED open. Hialeah also closed for about three months, came back for about three weeks, and then closed again for about 6 or seven weeks. I was personally upset about this since I lost out on my free play from this.

Gulfstream Park Casino doesn't check bags. Hialeah does. Hialeah's temperature check is a walk up screen. GPC is a walk through, one before coming in and one once inside. At Hialeah, someone was turned away for having a high fever and it was reported. A bit scary for me personally as I wasn't that far away from this person. Thank God for the six feet mandate.

At Hialeah, there is one exit/entrance for Casino. In Gulfstream you can either use escalators or elevator.

Both of them have frequent signs saying to wash hands, wear mask, and stay 6 feet. Slots are turned off every other machine, except I was surprised to see at Hialeah THREE working Slots in a row. But it WAS early and maybe one of them just hadn't bern turned off yet. At Hialeah, a prerecorded voice on the P.A. System says "Wash hands, wear masks at all times, don't touch your face, practice Social Distancing." Both Casinos have hand sanitizer. Both Casinos have disinfecting of games and other high touch areas.

Both Casinos have plastic shields at their table games.

Everyone is required to wear a mask.

    Giveaways

Live Giveaway games at Gulfstream are no more for the time being. All Promotions are now done electronically and free play is automatically added to the Player's Club Card. No more being called to the front of the stage to play a game after reopening. Hialeah's Promotions are also all done electronically. Even right before the first shutdowns, the Player's Club Staff mentioned Gaming wasn't 100 percent okay with Live Giveaway Games due to The then New Coronavirus that was beginning to SERIOUSLY circulate United States. Coronavirus started to become a LITTLE problem in February, but by March, it was becoming a very serious and big problem.

    So, what about you guys?

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

Our casinos are the same thing except some of the table games do not have the plastic shields.

Oh my God. I didn't even KNOW what Hurricane Sally was until your post. Hopefully Miami gets spared from Hurricane Sally.
