Thread: Gumball Falls Video Keno Game

  1. #1
I made a shit ton of money on this game but haven't had a play in about a year and a half. It's on machines that have upward of 30 games to play so the public has wide choice and they just don't like this game anymore. Which means they no longer leave me any advantage plays. The game is called Gumball Falls.

Most of the plays came off the 50 cent, $1 and $2 bet levels. But in the pic I have the game set on just one nickel to run some action and show you how the game works. Since the game is in negative mode I don't want to dump a bunch of money playing a higher bet level.

In the pic you can see the 4-spot in the lower left. The 4 red and white swirls are the machine picks. The Free Games, Multiplier, and Extra Draws meters on the left are at at reset. You can see the three stars next to them. That means the game is in 4th mode where if the 4 machine picks hit you win the Free Games, Multiplier, and Extra Draws meter.

In the upper right you can see the Golden Gumdrop Cash meter. It starts at 20 units and progresses upwards as you play.

"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Each of the 4 modes lasts about 160 games average. In this pic you can see that there are only two stars next to the meters, one is on the Free Games and the other is on the Extra Draws. If the 4 machine picks hit in this mode you will be awarded the Free Games with the Extra Draws. The two meters will reset and the play will be over unless the Multiplier meter is very high.

I developed a point system to play this game so I wouldn't have to be doing a bunch of math at the machine. When the total of the three meters was 24 or higher I would play. In this pic you can see the total of the three meters is now 14. The Golden Gumdrop Cash meter is up to 28 units ($1.40).

You can see that the two stars are next to the Free Games and Multiplier. If the 4 machine picks hit in this mode you are awarded the Free Games plus the Multiplier. The two meters will reset and the play will be over unless the Extra Draws meter is very high.

In this pic there are no stars next to the meters. In this mode when the 4 machine picks hit you are awarded the Golden Gumdrop Cash in the upper right. Catching this meter does not reset the other 3 meters. The point count on the meters is now 19.

A key feature in the game is catching 3 out of 4 of the machine picks. When that happens either one of the meters will move up or you are awarded multipliers and/or extra draws.

In this pic all three stars are lit. If you hit the 4 machine picks in this mode you are awarded the Free Games, Multiplier and Extra Draws. This is the hit you are after and once you hit it all the meters reset and the play is over after you play off the Free Games.

As I said I would play with 24 points or more in the meters and I ground out a pretty good profit on those plays although there were losing plays involved. The big winning plays were when hitting for all three meters.

Imagine finding 60+ points on the $2 bet level, which I did several times. All of the meters are up around 18 or 20. You make a big profit just hitting 2 out of 3 of the meters. And if you catch all three meters you absolutely crush it. It's like....put $200 in the machine....cash out $2000.

Great stuff Mickey, thanks for posting.

That shows 90.77% for the nickels. How high did it go for dollars? Did you adjust your 24 play point for any denom?

That's 90.77% for a one nickel bet. Bet two nickels and the payback is a little higher, bet 3 nickels and the payback is even higher yet. You can bet in nickel increments from one nickel to 40 nickels and each bet level has it's own meters and payback percentage. IIRC, the 50 cent bet was around 93%, the $1 bet was 95% and the $2 bet was 96%.

Most of the plays came off the 50 cent, $1 and $2 bet levels. I had no competition for the plays so I wasn't looking for plays that were barely profitable, I stuck to the 24 minimum but most of the plays were higher than that.

LOL! Why would you want me to do that? Can't find the game anywhere on the internet, can you? Which means you can't figure out who the manufacturer is. LOL! Good luck in your hunt.

The game and cabinet were exclusive to a chain of casinos. It was put on about 400 machines about 5 years ago. The machines are now starting to slowly disappear. But I did notice I got the name of the game wrong. It's Gumdrop Falls. Sorry.

Here's another game that was in the same cabinet, Night Owl. This game didn't last long. They got to many complaints. It was similar to Gumdrop Falls in there were progressive Free Games, Multiplier and Extra Draws to be won. But it was also "Must Hit By." It was an easy read when to play.

Even some ploppies caught on to this one. The game was on 4 machines linked together. So if someone built the progressives up you could sit down on another machine and out race them to the Free Games with multipliers and extra draws. While they were playing 6 games per minute I was playing 60 games per minute.

People were complaining about getting beat. I tried to talk them into unlinking the machines but they decided to just remove the game.

In the first video the person was awarded 17 free games with a 10X multiplier and 6 extra draws per game which he gets to play on 8 ten-spots simultaneously.

In the 2nd video the person was awarded 14 free games with a 9X multiplier and 9 extra draws per game but won more free games while in the bonus round.

Here's Suckscockontuesdays pumping me for information on this play. He's obviously interested in learning advantage plays. But then the idiot recently trolled me out of the blue. Picked a fight with me for no good reason. This is why I don't like teaching the shit anymore. Why would I want to teach an asshole like that anything? It's stupid to teach these assholes plays while they call me names. Fuck 'em.
