I didn't want to muck up tableplays Movie Reco thread anymore.
I got triggered by a new show called:
The Queen's Gambit (2020 miniseries)
Forgive me for actually using the word, triggered, as that isn't my style or generation.
I was ranting as usual about how I don't believe men and women are equal.
I brought up the US Armed Forces.
Women make up just under 15% of the Active Duty Soldiers in the US Armed Forces.
So that is roughly 225,000 women.
At least 25% of women serving in the U.S. military have been sexually assaulted, and up to 80% have been sexually harassed.
It seems like a heavy price to pay in the name of equality.
I do not subscribe to the notion that women should and can do every job that a man does.
I have never agreed with the notion that women should be allowed in the military.
Especially not in combat.
Is our society more productive being coed in the workplace?
