Thread: Casinos losing business over Covid

People feel sorry for the casinos? I understand the workers but the workers can always apply and get a jobs in related fields. It's just that the the bulk of them are lazy and want to be on unemployment and don't want to seek out any other type of employment.

But as far as the casinos go and their parent companies they've reaped billions and billions and billions of dollars from the American public over some decades and people feel sorry that the casinos have lost business. Come the fuck on seriously!

This type of post from you I will gladly respond to. On the eve of the first Shutdowns, a Casino Worker informed me that they would NOT be getting paid during the unexpected Shutdowns. So, a Casino that brings in HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars a DAY doesn't have back up Severance Pay(Or some other type of pay)for temporarily laid off Workers due to a Shutdown? Really sad and really fucked up.

Your thinking,"Laid off Casino Workers should just stop being lazy and get another job!" Is flawed. MANY Businesses are STILL shutdown to this very day as a result of the FIRST Shutdowns from MARCH. And the Businesses that DID come back are taking back their previously laid off Workers. So, there just aren't that many jobs anymore for laid off Casino Workers due to the Shutdowns.

It isn't like November last year when Coronavirus hadn't really existed yet when Workers would be getting laid off because say a Robot did their job in half the time and for less pay.

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

I am glad to get my full posting rights back! Thank you Dan!

No! The whole point is: "But as far as the casinos go and their parent companies they've reaped billions and billions and billions of dollars from the American public over some decades and people feel sorry that the casinos have lost business."

I'm not addressing how they treated their employees or what they pay them or what they did not pay them. As far as the bottom line of the casinos for decades they made billions of dollars and they were greedy motherfukers. As far as them losing business this year, too fucking bad deal with it. As far as their employees go I don't take the same attitude but they need to get away from employers that do not not take good care of their employees.
