Thread: Anyone know about this new podcast coming out called "Gamblers"?

Came up on my Google feed today. Part of "The Ringers" network - I've never used Spotify before today but I guess they're a big deal or something.

Anyway, all that's out right now is a 1 minute preview clip - but it almost sounded to me like some voices I may have heard on GWAE podcasts. Anyone sound familiar or know someone that was in an upcoming episode?

Dave Hill from Ringers contacted me over a year ago. He wanted me to be one of the six gamblers. He and a crew wanted to secretly observe me in action. They wanted me to explain what I was doing while I was doing it.
We agreed for him to fly down to Joplin, Missouri for a meetup. Joplin is within 30 miles of about a dozen Oklahoma casinos. The location would be kept under wraps. I was going to explain while sitting at the machines the variable states of paybacks some games can be in and how a knowlegeable gambler could read the situation to determine if a game was in positive or negative mode, and let that be his guide to playing the machine or not.

Then I had the heart attack. That changed everything. For 4 months I didn't think I would survive much longer. There couldn't be a meetup in Joplin or anyplace else for that matter. Dave made offers about coming to Montana but I wasn't crazy about bringing that much exposure to what I do here.

He told me about other gamblers he had contacted. Looks like he found enough to make a series out of it. I'm looking forward to hearing it or watching it.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

That's too bad you were in recovery, would have made a top notch episode. Maybe we lucked out and they were able to get a hold of PraxAP to make a slots episode.
