Victimhood seems to be a prerequisite in the gay community.
One day we'll see our resident fraud fag in the Review Journal telling us how it's someone else's fault for his years of shenanigans in the Strip's various restroom stalls.....RIP

FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP
MaxPen, why do you care SO much and write so much about gay shit? With me, with mickey. Almost anyone you attack or bust on it is some kind of gay shit. My guess is you are deeply, deeply in the closet. This is America. Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do. If you want to suck a dick or take it up the ass, go do it. Don't just be miserable living a life deeply in the closet like you are doing. That is just sad and cowardly.
oh yeah almost forgot. RIP
And I sincerely hope you do rest in peace soon rather than later. Because you seem such a tortured soul, miserable and doing all you can to make everyone else just as miserable.

The kewl-J always operate from the same play-book. Every time he get caught in one of his bulls-shits, talls-tale he jump up and down all hysterical, get defensive and claim that cats are out to get him, with the vendetta, cuz he's queer. The boy is trapped in some kinda feed-backs loop, hey hey.
Yeah... I'm not quick to trust those who don't drink at all. Of course that feeling may change over time after getting to know someone and what their motivations are.
I also find it interesting that people who don't drink, or drink only rarely, are quicker to throw the 'alcoholic' label around. I will only use that term if someone meets at least one of the following criteria:
- They cannot be sober, shortly after they get up they're hitting the bottle. This is the raging alcoholic.
- Once the person starts drinking they will not stop (or find it difficult to) until they are completely wasted and irrational. This would be more the functional alcoholic.
In either case, the person suffers some serious negative consequences when they are drinking. Falling short of any of this then the person is probably just an alcohol abuser. I think there is much confusion over the distinction. Just my opinion.
I wasn't addicted to alcohol. I was a binge drinker. An episodic alcoholic. I went days and even weeks between drinking binges. But when I hit the bar I had no problem drinking them out of a liter of whiskey by closing time.
It's great to occasionally get out and binge drink. That is, when you are young. But in the end, if you keep it up, you just wind up an old drunk. That's what I seen in the mirror and that's why I quit.
Feb 28, 2017 was the last night I had a drink, or I should say 20 drinks. The next day I woke up and, for some reason, said fuck it, I'm through. I'm two months shy of 7 years being dry.
Am I just a dry alcoholic? Who cares? I don't. The simple of it is if you don't drink you don't get drunk.

Well played, Mickey.
I'm sure you appreciate keeping all that money that otherwise would have been given to bartenders.
Christ on a crutch, have you seen how the prices of mixed drinks have gone up?
What, Me Worry?
So was Mickey a functional alcoholic <or> an alcohol abuser? Some might argue if he decided to completely quit drinking then he was probably suffering some pretty negative consequences from doing so. But I can't answer that... only Mickey can. So at the end of the day 'alcoholic' is a black and white label, but reality tends to be more in a grey area. Regardless those, who don't know a person very well, should not be so quick to label people as such.
Even though he calls himself an episodic alcoholic, his confession seems to point more to his reasons for quitting relating to his age. Obviously alcohol is harder on your body as you get older. I know if I ever stopped drinking, or even substantially cut down, it would only be for health concerns related to my age.

From 2021:
We got another heavy drinker/alcohol abuser/potential alcoholic. Talking about “substantially” cutting down, implies heavy drinking in the first place.
So how many "drunks" are on this forum? really.

Riddle me this, dawg:
Am I then any different in your eyes than a pious, devout Christian, or Muslim, or true believer of any other religion or sect who spends a lot of time thinking about religion and who allows religion to influence their actions?
Is the old lady who goes to mass daily and lights a novena candle an addict?
How about those who face Mecca on their knees many times a day in prayer?
Are firm believers "addicts" and if so, is that a bad thing?
Final question: what is the difference between something being an "addiction" and a 'crutch?"

What, Me Worry?
Feel good about yourself when judging others??
Funny a guy who spends so much time in a casino calling others 'addicts' and 'drunks'. I got news for you buddy, you and almost all of us in here are gambling addicts. The key is avoiding the negative consequences of addiction, in this case losing money. An addiction that has little to no negative consequences can be referred to as a pastime or a hobby... a career... lol. But everything in life has the potential to become an addiction, more or less.
