That's why the eventual bankrupting loss that some insist must happen may not occur.

Same goes with card counters in blackjack. A single counter will never amass the amount of hands it took to prove that counting works. I suggest keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about what others think.

The only way to determine that via poll is to require that all members vote.

Otherwise, most members may not even vote (like every other poll).

I guess you have never heard of a sample size. Even if Dan required that(and I highly doubt he would) I doubt most members even would then since there are over 1500 members here and I would guess that less than 5% are actually active, especially when you toss sockpuppets in the mix.

Even then the results are unreliable, since some of the population won't participate if asked,
and there is a bias among those willing to participate in polls.
