Let’s face it, this dude is an asshole of epic proportions . First he claims to just win every time. Now there is some secret sauce that wizard is sworn to not mention. The whole thing is fucking crazy. If he had a secret sauce he is still the biggest troll on the forum for posting that he is winning and suites when really he is just on a play and leaving that part out. He posts on three forum daily . Brags in every single post. Anyone with a shade of class would not sit and brag non stop about how great they are. Let’s also be honest if he is getting a daily loss rebate then he is a fool for the way he plays it. Simply put no class , braggart who I’m sure has some other severe mental issue. Fuck this guy. That’s why I backed out of offering dark oz also got fucked because my challenge was to observe normal play. Dickdawg couldn’t wait to play the min for the challenge fuck this piece of shit. But I got the info I needed. See you at the tables one day dawggy

Then to top it all off, Mr Integrity explains how he would play this out at a 98% success rate. THAT WAS NOT THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS MEETUP(If it even occurred! ) Rusty continues to prove that other then his expertise in math, he's either A= Complete bozo in everyday life B= Has little to no integrity C= Both.... How anybody can trust this weazel is mystifying.

TurdDawg is the poster child for birth control.

"Look at me! Look at me!"

    Uh, no.

I agree with everything in these first two posts. Mdawg was asked over a year ago by me and others (axelwolf) if there was anything he was doing that would make his play +EV. Each and every time he said no. I was specifically thinking along the lines of a loss rebate because I phrased it "special conditions or rules". Now all of the sudden, more than 2 years into this scam, this fictional fantasy, he springs a loss rebate, which he said "no" numerous times. He is a liar!

On top of that a loss rebate would not account for all the winning he has claimed, session after session. As Ivyleagegrad stated, that is not even the way someone would play a loss rebate. Remember all those sessions that he was down big and chased losses to recover. What that essentially amounts to is a big loss followed by a big win. Anyone with a loss rebate would have booked that loss, collected on the loss rebate. And then taken their business elsewhere for another session and if they booked a win like he claimed, would have the loss rebate for the losing session and the big winning session. Sort of a double win. The way he claims, he got nothing except a small win after climbing out of a big hole. People with a loss rebate aren't trying to climb out of a hole. You don't TRY to get in a hole, but if you do, you book the loss and collect the rebate.

Shackleford's involvement is absolutely disgusting. Predictable, but disgusting. It was his job to get to the bottom of these claims, especially since he provided the platform for these misleading claims. When he finally announced that he would, he allowed himself to be talked out of it in private by Mdawg. Then for a measly $500 Shackleford was all onboard again, but turned it into a contest that had no bearing on Mdawgs play as stated, which was what he was supposed to get to the bottom of. Then Mdawg and Shackleford did everything out of view, stinking of collusion and making shackleford now completely complicit in this whole scam.

And so everything done, what does Shackleford reveal? That he is not a liberty to say anything?!? THAT was the whole point, Mike, you jackass!

    KewlJ,

I have prevailed upon myself that it's not really worth getting into matters of opinion, so I will address only the aspects of that post for which I think the facts disagree.

Shacklefords involvement is disgusting. Predictable, but disgusting. It was his job to get to the bottom of these claims, especially since he provided the platform for these misleading claims.
He does not own the site, and therefore, is not providing any platform.

Then for a measly $500 Shackleford was all onboard again, but turned it into a contest that had no bearing on Mdawgs play as stated, which was what he was supposed to get to the bottom of.
I don't consider $500 for probably two hours measly, but maybe you've upped the high end of your card counting betting range. Anyway, Wizard didn't turn anything into a contest; that was not his proposal. First, it was ExpectedValue's proposal, then DarkOz took it over. Not Wizard's terms.

Then Mdawg and Shackleford did everything out of view, stinking of collusion and making shackleford now completely complicit in this whole scam.
You were expecting what? Thirty-five people to be there with cameras and perhaps CBS Evening News? The proposal that MDawg and Wizard agreed to (that neither actually was the one to propose) was that Wizard would go individually and do the whole thing with MDawg. If you really want Wizard and multiple other people to be doing it, then simply ask Wizard/MDawg how much money that will require and you can also waste your money on something pointless, then you won't feel so left out of the fun. Maybe you can even go, for the right price---oh, that's right, you wouldn't want forum members to be meeting you, either.

And so everything done, what does Shackleford reveal? That he is not a liberty to say anything?!? THAT was the whole point, Mike, you jackass!
It wasn't the whole point. Whatever was to be revealed or not revealed could have been addressed in the terms, twice. Darkoz certainly didn't have to offer up the same exact terms.

Funny that a guy who stayed out of it completely for the longest time( didn't even vote ) is adding fuel to the fire to feed this narcissist extraordinaire.Your making up for lost time I see. Mission, I knew you would jump in with you Shackleford ass kissing. Was just waiting for it.

Ownership of the site is a technicality. Mike RUNS the forum and thus provided the platform. If you don't believe me take note when my suspension that ends tomorrow, mysteriously turns into a ban or resignation. That won't be the serbs, they could care less. That will be Wizard, so don't hide behind that 'he doesn't own the forum' bullshit.

35 people? No. But there should have been more than just the 2 getting paid. That invites collusion. You want to invite the opposite, transparency. Should have been another couple people not getting paid and Axel would have been the perfect candidate, because he had a strong opinion. Imagine Axelwolf being convinced some of Mdawgs claims were true. That would have been something...a real feather in the cap.

And I am NOT crying after the fact. I and others, axelwolf included said from the very beginning, this proposal solves nothing about Mdawgs claims, and that was the goal. It would be like playing H-O-R-S-E to determine who the best basketball player in the world is. Ridiculous and anyone playing along, as you are now, is complicit in these bullshit claims.

Monet is just pointing out the obvious - that some people are wasting too much time worrying about what someone else is doing. I am sure those same people have better things to do.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I'll make two quick points, which I will get into more in a public article criticizing WoV. Hell, I checked ad rates in USA Today. I think a national ad is too expensive, but I'd be willing to toss $500 or 1K away on a regional ad. LOL. Maybe DarkOz can donate.

    1) Monet hit the nail on the head regarding the "rules and regs" at WoV. Mission focuses on the minutia of the rules and regs to defend why this suspension occurs or that one does not. But monet pointed out that the actual suspensions are of wildly varying degrees for the same things. The rules and regs can be as intricate and precise as a legal document, but if the results of being found "guilty" vary wildly person to person, then the rules and regs really are just cover for the arbiter to do what he wants regardless. Also along this line, when you are dealing with rules and regs regarding something called "trolling," which has such a wide range of colloquial meanings, then if the site arbiter gets to define things however he wants, the rules and regs are again rendered useless. Shackleford has gotten to the point where a post can be labeled "trolling" based, not on the content of the actual post, but on Shackleford's interpretation of motive and effect. Motive and effect are completely subjective speculations, and Shackleford, who is not particularly good or experienced or credentialed as a writer, has no business assigning motive or effect-on-an-audience to any piece of writing. He has zero expertise, zero credentials.

    2) The raison d'etre of WoV is to provide some math-based perspective on casino gambling. The rules and regs of the forum, when they allow posters to completely undermine and subvert the original mission, thereby become anathema to the goals and purpose of the site. So one has to decide (and this is for Mission) what you want to defend -- the raison d'etre or the rules. If you want to defend the rules and regs, that's fine, but at least acknowledge that doing so subverts the original purpose of the site.

lol... voting is a waste of time IMO.
However, score a few points for you on this post busting my balls.
    Well Done!

MDawg doesn't bother me because I never read his posts but I like taking his side because I don't see who he is harming?
Has he asked anyone for money or tried to scam them??
No... as a matter of fact, they just give him 2000 dollars for nothing and give the Wizard 500 to do what???
    NOTHING lol lol lol.
The one good thing about his posts is they expose who the Wizard and other Scammers are.
That's a good thing IMO because far too many people on these forums project themselves to be APs saving the world and constantly doing good to others.

Oh, you. I think it's actually kind of endearing that you confuse being more than zero objective about things with ass-kissing. If I were ass-kissing, I wouldn't have been on your side on the Norm thing.

Ownership of the site is a technicality. Mike RUNS the forum and thus provided the platform. If you don't believe me take note when my suspension that ends tomorrow, mysteriously turns into a ban or resignation. That won't be the serbs, they could care less. It's not a technicality. If you don't like what's going on, then there's nothing prohibiting you from PM'ing the owners or other Administration. You seem to want to pretend that one thing or another is some sort of scam, well, if it were, then don'y you think maybe PM'ing ownership would be more potentially effective than getting yourself banned and coming over here to petulantly post provoking pejoratives pointlessly?

Oh, so you're going to resign and then claim not to do have done so? Is that the play?

35 people?
Once again, MDawg and Wizard did not propose the terms; they just accepted them. You're barking up the wrong tree holding Wizard accountable for that.

I would have been a good candidate because I know a little about gambling and am completely neutral. But, the terms didn't say anything about a second witness.

Yeah, I know, that's why the whole thing was stupid and pointless. I remember saying that both before and after. I might have said it during, if only I knew what day and time the meetup happened. I also said that there's really no way MDawg doesn't come out with more credibility than before, as long as a meetup of any kind takes place, even if he were to lose the session.

Anyway, your claims of collusion are ridiculous and founded on nothing other than the fact that you despise Wizard too much to even have the slightest shred of objectivity.

In what way am I playing along? Some things you say are right, some are wrong...but per the usual Modus Operandi, you're going to act like a little bitch if I don't 100% agree with everything you're saying.

Look, here is what Mdawg did prove and I will give credit for. 1) that he is in Las Vegas and 2.) does play I guess enough to get comped the suites he said. Personally, I am not convinced of # 2, but there comes a point, you say ok.

BUT, if he is getting comped as claimed, he is not winning as he claims. He is leaving out all the losing and losses. I believe that is what he is, a high end player, losing gambler that gets comped well. he is just telling half the story. You don't have to be a high limit player to know how Vegas works and it doesn't work as he claims.

All you have to really ask yourself is what kind of wealthy guy, on a month long trip to Vegas, posts on forums 24/7, engaging in all the trolling and name calling this guy does. A couple weeks ago, I listed the times he posted on a particular day It was like 55 posts from 6am until 11pm on 2 different forums (I was only counting 2 forums) nearly every few minutes with the exception of about a 3hour break around dinner time. Is that what a real high end player does? Comes to Vegas to post on an internet forum for 17 hours a day, engaging in trolling and name calling? Something doesn't add up here.

I don't WANT to defend anything and am not defending anything. When are you people going to begin to comprehend that none of you would be talking to me if money wasn't involved? You're the ones here for fun and you're more worried about it than I am.

Anyway, I already disagreed with the length of your suspension and its cause. I said, were I an admin, you'd have gotten three days under Rule #19. Don't know what else you want from me.

Sorry to Ozzy by the way.
    I'm just amusing myself.
    BoSox already turned on me.
Don't want to piss off any other members I like.
At worst I think I will always have talbleplay to banter back and forth with.
That's the wrong way to put it... AT BEST... I meant AT BEST.

I was using the voting as an example, you, Mickey and Druff were pretty much the only AP'S to stay almost completely out of it for the most part. Everybody else who knows better except for Mission called his bullshit out. I know I know Mission YOU DONT CARE ... LOL LOL

Mission, I HAVE contacted the owners, not about this, but about the Norm situation and I was told it was Mike's call. Mike runs the forum, so there.

No I am not resigning. I don't intend to post there unless things change. No reason to. WoV as it currently is, is no different than here, except the rules change on a whim, depending on Mike's mood. At least here, we understand the rules....there are no rules. But I am not announcing my resignation. I reserve the right to change my mind. But I will bet my current suspension either mysteriously turns to a ban or a mysterious resignation is announced in the coming days.

Look, Mission, it was Mike who back in December posted "that it was time for Mdawg to put up or shut up and show him his play". I don't know, maybe you missed that because you disappear for months. It was MIKE who said it was time to get to the bottom of this. Did these events in the last week do that? NO! I don't know whether he was played and manipulated, or just outsmarted, but he didn't get done what he was supposed to and people were counting on him to do. He got side tracked by $500 freaking dollars!
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

I'm still way out of it but things changed when the most feared AP on the East Coast gave him and the wizard 2500 dollars for NOTHING lol lol lol.
IMO DarkOz is due a Free Meal of his choice up to 250 dollars.

Not only that, but there was no disproving anything until it became all but mathematically impossible. That was my starting point. If the belief is that everything is a lie, then a meetup (if it happens) makes at least some things not a total lie anymore...as in, the argument that everything is a lie can't even be made.

Baccarat is not beatable unless there is a mechanism(s) in place that change the expected value of the overall proposition. No system can do it. No, "Reading the flow of cards," can do it. Why? Because those things are nonsense and do not change the House Edge whatsoever.

See how simple that is? That's where my confusion comes from. You just go into his thread, say that and why is that not good enough?

Mission, look, Shackleford suspended me for a post that mildly and obliquely had some MDawg parody elements, but was actually an homage to Fear and Loathing on the day that celebrated Fear and Loathing's 50th anniversary. I never mentioned MDawg in my post. But Shackleford, who amazingly runs a site called Wizard of Vegas and DID NOT KNOW when the 50th anniversary of Fear and Loathing kicked off, decided he knew what my post was about.

He should have apologized for whiffing on a famous event and having me do a (pretty obvious) homage. Instead he decided to defend MDawg. It was asinine, and tells you where his head his.

And piling on about this -- MDawg IS AS BIG A FEAR AND LOATHING FAN as I am, so MDawg knew it was an homage on the 50th anniversary, but Shackleford was too brain dead to realize it.

Mission, you would do well to get Shackleford a library card. Might do him a world of good.
