It went right over my head at first that MDawg and belly were suggesting that a notation on a check was somehow proof of winnings. That was so stupid, it didn't deserve a response, but being equally stupid, I responded. I'm always surprised at how people think "policies" are laws. They have no idea how fluid and flexible Las Vegas can be. Things are not ever set in stone, even if law. For something called "policies," pretty much anything goes depending on the situation.

I'm always surprised at how people think, "Laws," are laws. You think there aren't hosts out there getting people blow, or blown?

that last section...

"Issuing casino checks and wires to a patron only for the amount of his/her winnings,
in the absence of legitimate circumstances for such actions (e.g. the remaining funds
from a cashier’s check which already has been negotiated)." is probably what the casino
cage to which AndrewG phoned was referring, as far as concessions for known players.

All they meant was that if front money paid in by cashier's check
was part of what was left to return to the player, they would include it in the check.

It does NOT mean under ANY circumstances that cash would be converted to check for ANYONE.

The problem is, that certain swine don't understand any of the topic matter.

It's not even pearls before swine because they can't even get to the point of
comprehending the difference between pearls or anything else.
