So "Andrew", what do you mean THIS time there are photos? Have you made some other previous claim that people didn't beleive that you couldn't produce photos?

Or did you just forget that the 18 y.o.'s in a row claim isn't your (Andrew's) claim but rather Alan's? A case of who am I on this forum?

Other than that, enjoy you moment for what you think it is......Andrew.

If I recall, Mr Alan never claimed that he rolled 18 yos in a row. Mr Alan said he saw a player roll 18 yos in a row.

We never saw photos of Mr Singer's RV.

We never saw photos of your tax returns.

Mr Mdawg at least showed us photos of chips and markers. That's more than you ever showed.

Mr Kewlj why do you put punctuation between the letters that spell yos?

I looked on WoV for the post you reference and couldn't find it; please post a link to it here, as I would like to know more about this, in particular who took the pics of the dice.

The screen shot alan posted looks "funny," as in "this tastes funny."

Andrew, admittedly, I am horrible at grammar and spelling. I hated English in high school and frequently skipped to get high out back. See how almost every post is edited? That is me trying to get it right and still...massive fail. (where is the embarrassed emoji) I will try to do better just for you Andrew.

Why would I show tax returns? Am I on trial or running for president? And that last one seems to no longer qualify for showing tax returns.

Seriously are you advocating everyone show tax returns? lawyers MrV and regnis? Slingshot? Other people that work whatever job? Or just AP's? Should Dan Druff? I guess that is one way to insure that no professional players participate on any gambling forum.

Mr Mr Kewlj, why is Mr Mdawg on trial? You appear to be chief prosecutor. Has Mr Mdawg borrowed money from you or solicited contributions or member fees to participate in his adventures?

The only difference between his claims and your claims are the number of digits.

    It's tiring.

Not at all true Alan. (<-) The difference is MATH. I know that might not be that important to someone like you who apparently has no regard for the math involved, but it is a big deal. Mdawg's claims, "as stated" defy math. I used to say impossible, but apparently a 1 in 20 million chance is possible and people didn't like me saying that, so I am now going with "defy" math.

Now if Mdawg lied about playing with an advantage or left parts (the losing parts) out....that is on him. But as he has stated his 'adventure' it defies math and challenges are fair game.

Ok, been home all day, waiting for a furniture delivery and that has just arrived, so I am out to try to get at least a little play in today. Peace to all, especially you Alan/Andrew. wait...is andrew your middle name Alan? Somebody check up on that.

Mr Kewlj please address me as Andrew.

As I've written here before, this drama about Mr Mdawg is a waste of time. If you don't believe it then let it die.

Personally it's a waste of time since we never have been told how he wins. Without knowing his methodology what is there to discuss? Nothing.

You told us you win through card counting. I don't dispute that. So there's no need to discuss it; card counting has been accepted as a methodology that works.

Given the plethora of AP's that haunt these boards trying to sniff out ANY potentially lucrative new play, the bullshit posted by fuckdog attracts them like shit does flies.

    No surprise.

There should be no surprise that inexplicable brags of his magnitude are examined closely by those who would like to have a dog in the fight.

Now I know you're a lawyer. I have no idea what you wrote means.

    LOL

OK, I understand you are just learning about life and gambling so I'll break it down for you.

The shithead in question makes claims of essentially never losing.

Many board members are AP's, seeking to gamble with an edge, not recreationally: for them the claim of near constant wins is quite compelling and worth looking into as they too want to learn how it can be done.

They therefore closely examine and analyze the sum and substance of the claims.

    Thank you for the clarification.

But what is there to examine or analyze? He hasnt said how he wins.

Without his methodology what's the point of continuing the discussion?

Coming onto a gambling forum and claiming to essentially "never lose"and refusing to explain your specific method of play is taunting and teasing at its highest level: advanced trolling, if you will.

What's the point of the asshole bragging if he refuses to explain how and why he wins to members of a gambling board?

Bullshit artists need a wide canvas, and that asshat has a very broad one at WoV

I was dealt 2 clubs, 3 diamonds, 7 clubs, 9 hearts, king spades just now. The odds on that happening are 1 in 2,598,960. Much, much harder to do.

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb here. You're trying to tell me that Wizard procured actual photos of dice on top of each other from Red Rock? While failing to identify the source of the information?

Hmmmm. If Alan Mendelson were here, I'd ask him to extend those journalist antennae and help me make sense of this.

Okay, just going by the information in the first post, here's the curious aspects of this. Walk through it slowly. The opening line quote is:

"I am told this morning at the Red Rock the dice landed on atop each other TWICE at the same table."

First of all, from an analytic standpoint, that sentence is a horrible mishmash. Taking it at technical face value, without adjusting meaning because someone is a bad or confusing writer, the sentence means that the author WAS TOLD this morning at Red Rock about an event that DID NOT NECESSARILY take place this morning. That, unfortunately, is what the sentence actually means. The event of the dice landing atop each other twice is not by definition taking place the same morning that the author is being told this. The problem with the sentence being this confusing is that it extends the possible time frame for the event back in perpetuity.

But, let's cut the author a break, and assume he means it happened the same day as his visit. If Mr. Mendelson were here, he'd tell us, I think, that "I am told this morning" is a really weak way of presenting something purporting to be evidence. No source; just "I am told." Who told him, the janitor, a little bird, a pit boss who saw and photographed both? "I was told this morning" is one of those attempts at evidence without evidence. I could walk the strip tomorrow, and if I engage the right people, I will be told all kinds of things, some of which are well nigh impossible.

I assumed, when I went to the Facebook page, which I had never visited until now, that there would be some further clarification. There was not. So the photos could have come from anywhere, and "I am told" could have been from anyone. Really, as far as journalism goes, this is non-journalism. Non-journalism seems to be a WoV specialty these days.

Okay, so here goes a really, really oblique question. What would motivate somebody to post a hearsay tale about dice with alleged million-to-one-against odds? Might they be trying to push that "far end of the bell curve happens" theme? You know, lightning struck twice here, mathematically. Might it make other lightning strike narratives a smidgeon more believable? When you're pushing the reportage of highly improbable events on a site, one suddenly starts looking around at reality to come up with a few.

"I am told" is an absolutely terrible line for author credibility. Maybe the worst. It doesn't matter if it's CNN, Fox News, my fishing buddy, or my minister -- if I hear "I am told," I brace for half of what follows to be garbage.

Curious, I just started a thread at WoV asking the wiz for background info as to this most unlikely event.

Well, yeah, nobody who actually reads stuff halfway carefully is going to be satisfied with "I am told" and a couple of unsourced photos. I'll hire somebody to come on here and report that "he is told" I date Angelina Jolie, and then toss in some stock photos of both of us as evidence.
